100% the best martial arts gym ever! The kids class is super fun, they’re very clear and are extremely motivating. The teen/adults class is just as fun and we had a blast here. 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to get into martial arts.

Team Chip Martial Arts is a safe, family based business with high level training in a clean , uplifting atmosphere. I highly recommend them for any age. I am 64 yrs old have been training at TCMA for almost 20 yrs and have never had an injury while training. They will design a program for any age group or physical limitations.

I started training about a year ago after having to stop training at another school about 12 years ago due to spinal issues. I was able to come to TEAM CHIP because they let me modify my training. I’m still able to advance through my curriculum, but if it is not good for me to do, I can modify it. The leaders help you with whatever modifications need to be made based on whatever your injury is.The leadership is amazing and they care about each person who trains there. It is a family atmosphere that everyone feels when they come in the door. I’m so thankful that I get to train again and thankful for TEAM CHIP.

Team Chip is by far the best place in the whole country. I have trained at gyms from all over and there is no comparison. The entire staff of instructors are phenomenal and incredibly knowledgeable. The programs are amazing. The little dragons program has taught my kid so much about determination, perseverance, confidence, courtesy, and respect. The instructors do a great job with keeping the children engaged and ensure they are learning the curriculum.The adults the TKD program is legendary. My wife loves it and enjoys the workout, self defense, and drive that the class motivates her to be the best.The BJJ program is amazing and it’s growing! The techniques and workouts you get every class are awesome. You learn new techniques on defense and leave the gym drenched and smiling! Being former Military this class has helped me in more ways than one. The group that trains in BJJ has a tight Brotherhood/sisterhood.All classes are welcoming and there is no ego. Everyone there wants you to become part of the family and will do whatever they can to help you. The Abilene community honestly has no idea how fortunate they are to have Chip and his family teaching the current and future leaders of the Big Country.The best part is YOU DONT HAVE TO BE IN SHAPE TO START!!!!Just show up.

My children have been taking classes at team chip for almost 4 years, and we really love it! The instructors are wonderful, and the other families are like our family now, too. My kids (and i) learn such valuable information, not only their tae kwon do skill, but life lessons, too. When my youngest is able to start, she will definitely be on the mat, too!

Everyone is very nice and my son loves the energy in the classes. My son has been attending Team Chip for 4 months and I can't say enough good things about them. This is not just a business its a family! The positive changes I have seen in my son warms my heart. He now has the confidence to talk to peers and has started making Friends. Hands down Team Chip is the best!!

This place is awesome. Their personnel are very well trained and they are establishing in my child confidence. They are so kind and compassionate and care about my child and it shows. You guys rock Team Chip!Update 4-26-21. I just started karate and its is awesome. I cant feel my legs and i died twice I think but I haven't been this excited about something in a long time. They are so good at meeting you where you are at (physically/mentally) and encouraging you. Ive been bringing my son here for three months but feel like family here. Give this a try you will not regret it!
