What I love about this gym the most is the route setting, and the number and variety of auto belay options for when you just can't find a partner. Some renowned setters put up quite thoughtful and challenging lines. The monthly membership fees are extremely reasonable, and include yoga as well as other group fitness classes geared towards climbers for cross training. The kid area is separate from the main walls, which is also nice. I'm not super into bouldering, so I can't speak to that much, except to say there are lots of routes. There are also 3 nice treadmills, free weights, and another cardio/ gym equipment. A second location is coming soon, which will hopefully help with my one complaint... super crowded in the evenings and on weekends. Great staff, nice retail shop work great, guidebooks, snacks. Well worth the cost.

What an amazing place, went for the first time today and it made me want to move to ABQ. They have everything here, big walls fornlead and TR, boulders of all angles. Training center that will get you pumped or winded. Friendly staff, huge store, proper ratings too! Cant wait to go back and to see the new space. Hopefully they expand to Santa Fe soon!

I have gone twice now. Once with a friend and once alone and the staff has always been amazingly friendly and helpful. I'm a first time climber and especially going alone was extremely daunting, but I never felt talked down to or belittled for being new. It is like a community of people all trying to solve the wall problems together with no pressure on how you get there or when.I even expressed my fear with one of the employees when getting some chalk to help me and he said, "Remember to breathe and take your time. You are completely capable and I know you will crush this." That was just what I needed to hear. What incredible staff!!

First time here today after visiting at the old location 6 years ago. Great and helpful staff, awesome routes for bouldering and auto belay. Very reasonably priced and great selection of equipment at the store. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for a new place to call home or just to give it a try.

What a great climbing gym. I was passing through on my way to Red Rocks, and stopped in for a workout. Great setting, lots of bouldering and auto belays (for those of us climbing solo), but also lots of great lead routes. I really liked that they separate the warm-up area/beginner area from the lead climbing area. And the workout space is great too!

I had a great experience here. the gym is enormous with both a climbing wall and a bouldering option, and can entertain a wide array of ages from my parents to me to my ten year old brother. Would go again!

Just got into climbing, and this place is fantastic. I've put in a lot of work, and am already working on 5.11 grade climbs. It's extremely fun and addicting...and the most challenging sport I've been involved in since giving up skateboarding in my late 20s. Great place to go nice people and employees fully recommended....

Awesome place to rock climb without having to drive far to remote locations. It's well taken care and they change it up pretty regularly too. The only reason I don't give Stone Age 5 stars is because it gets packed almost everyday. It can be tough to climb because of there can be so many people. Other than that, it's the best place to climb in Albuquerque.

Definitely the best place to climb in Abq! The facilities are really clean and the staff is always helpful. It's often pretty crowded though, and that's what keeps me from giving it 5 stars. They should definitely consider expanding!
