I was a member for 6 months or so. I cancelled my membership because the place is crowded with children and they closed off large parts of the gym regularly. The weight lifting area is very small and I found myself using it the most because the climbing portion of the gym was either crowded or sections where closed. There are adults bouldering and kids un-attentively running under them. I expected to try to get talked into keeping my membership (two people, $100) however the employees seemed like they could care less. I will return but only for a day pass

Great staff that really go out of their way to help everyone have the best experience possible. Huge number of routes to climb with dedicated lead and bouldering areas. The walls are tall at 45 feet and overhanging on the lead wall. Several auto-belay devices for people going solo. A dedicated"kiddy" room with small routes and a kiddy boulder for the little ones. Kids 7 and under are free if you have a membership. Solid educational programs and member fitness classes. The best climbing gym I've had the chance to visit!

Very impressed with this climbing gym. The facilities are huge, and they have all kinds of different climbing options (bouldering, auto belay walls, etc). This was the first time I've ever been, so I don't know much about rock climbing, but it seemed like the climbing routes ranged from easy to very difficult. Everyone, both staff and members were incredibly friendly.

I am so surprised and impressed by the gym by how they're able to balance appealing to tweens while still giving excellent facilities to those who know the ropes. The staff know how to easily teach the skills of rock climbing and the prices (~$20 for the whole day!) are unbelievable for the amount of wall space and work out equipment. The best part of the whole experience is the people who show up at Stone Age. The climbers who are clearly members are happy to explain and demonstrate when asked for help and are SO friendly. The kids who are there for classes or parties are easily impressed and really sociable actually! I just wished that I lived in the Albuquerque area to be a member here...

Great gym to climb at and tons of fun. Great friendly staff are always there to help.BEWARE THE OWNER;One misplaced finger on your grigri and you'll literally be yelled at for all to see. (Personal experience and witnessing others) I understand safe practices while climbing but getting yelled at publicly is a little silly, a couple lessons in human interaction might go a little further with customers.

What a great way to start new years goals. I decided to switch up my fitness routine and do something different. The staff was excellent with training and processes. A few of the members gave me really good tip with proper form and technique. Rock climbing is Defiantly a good way to challenge your core and endurance strength levels. I will be back.

I'm blown away by this place. It's huge, and the walls change frequently, and the staff and patrons are super friendly. The annual membership isn't even that expensive, either, if you look at it monthly. My only complaint would be that when they're busy they frequently don't have my size shoes. But they said they'll have a bunch of new rental shoes soon, and I got my own anyway -- because rental shoes are ooky.

Never having been rock climbing before, I really enjoyed this experience. The prices weren't outrageous and it wasn't too crowded when I went, for a first time climber it was ideal. The lesson overview before being let loose on the facility was very nice and more comforting.I had a great time and will be going back soon.

Great gym, great staff. Reasonably priced; they have workout equipment (weights and cardio), as well as classes, in addition to the climbing. I'm a regular member, but anyone I've ever brought for just a day had a great time as well. Fun for the kiddo, too!

This place is amazing. Let me rephrase that AMAZING IS UNDERSTATEMENT. The best customer service I have experienced at any place in Albuquerque. The staff went above and beyond to show my wife and I how to use the equipment. My kids 10, and 5 had a blast climbing all day. Thank you for the awesome service.
