I have sent three notification about canceling my account to no reply over a two week period. Per gold gym policy, you are required to send a cancellation email to the manager after your obligation period has ended (my obligation period has ended) I stop going to golds due to the fact they closed down a location near me than crammed everyone to a already busy location. I will not be joining this gym again.

I have been trying to cancel my gym membership since March 20, 2020 when the Falls Church location closed. I attempted to in person at the front desk, and they directed me to a form online which I filled out, and received a confirmation that my cancellation was complete. According to the confirmation, I needed to verify that I had moved in order to have the cancellation go through. I then called the billing line to which I was told I was actually good to go and it was an error on their end. Several months pass and I randomly hear from the billing department for the Bailey's Crossroads Gold's Gym that I have an outstanding balance of $194. I have not received a bill up until this point, and once receiving this balance I attempted to call the number listed on the invoice SEVERAL times to dispute the charges. I forwarded the email confirmation to a service desk staff member, who assured me she could get the charges fixed. After several weeks of calling in and not being able to get connected to anyone or receiving any returned phone calls, someone from a third party collections agency reached out! I finally just paid the balance in order to end this all together although I am very disturbed by the lack of customer service, responsiveness, and attention to detail during this whole ordeal. Save yourself the time, money, and a major headache.

I'm about to cancel my membership with this gold gym company. They are thieves, they take your money. little by little I have been looking at my bank account. that they took. 60 dollars. apart from my monthly payment. I'm going to do the report with my bank this Monday. I do not recommend any gold gym. Besides that it is expensive and they are stealing your money

Fraud run for your life will not advise anyone I know to join them please please run I am writing this out of my recent experience with them.I should have read all these reviews cus cancellation is a problem and the staff are being disrespectful because they know the manager won’t do anything about it.Stinking place you don’t wanna go to .Tell a friend to tell a friend to stay away.

Staff seems nice, but is one of the smaller locations but loved the Zumba instructor will be coming back next week.

I wanted to give zero. Worst membership cancellation policy. I have applied for cancellation almost 2 months ago for personal reasons, but they haven't processed my cancellation yet and I am paying monthly subscription for 3 months now for nothing. Worst customer service.
