Great, low key club with all the things you need.

I came to Planet Fitness because it was reasonably priced and open 24 hours. I did not mind the yearly charge and the regular fee a month. I applauded them on their response to the pandemic. But now that the crisis has subsided and become manageable, the store operations should revert back to the original contractual model. This Hayfield PF closes at 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday. And really isn’t 24/7. If it is only going to be 24/5 shouldn’t the yearly fee reflect that permanent change? Closing the gym early on the weekend seems problematic for busy people who cram many chores into the weekend. The gym should at least be open to 11pm Saturday and Sunday.The PF at Huntington is the only PF that operates like advertised. It is a shame it’s farther away but since I can only go to one PF I’ve chosen the larger newer one close to my home. I guess I need to reconsider my needs and transfer to Huntington instead of Hayfield. I guess the PFs are individually owned if one store can do one thing and not conform to the attributes that originally mad PF desirable. Like 7/11 we can call PF maybe sometimes/ depends where you go.After coming here for a year I find the people working the store to be pretty smug to customers. Many times I walk in and they are watching the television screen to the left if the front desk. I really don’t care but I’ve never seen any adults when I come in this PF, mostly young people in their early 20s. The great PF team at Huntington told me to just come in and they will change my store. I guess that’s the solution but I am unhappy with the shoddy way this new gym is managed. Too bad because I could walk to it. I’d give PF Hayfield a half or no stars if possible.The Hayfield Planet Fitness is clean and has a very friendly staff. I feel very safe and secure at this gym. There is a lot of space between patrons and there is always a bottle of disinfectant ready. I really respect that the owner of Planet Fitness did not deduct my dues during the pandemic. I heard many horror stories about gyms taking dues PF was true to their customers and saved them a lot of grief during the crisis. There just isn’t a better deal for a gym membership that comes close to PF. I pay $10 a month and I go into the gym at least two or three times a week. You can’t be $1.25 per visit. I’ve heard people say that it’s not a gym that’s for serious bodybuilders but there’s ample weight there for the exercise enthusiast. I am reluctant to write this ad because I don’t want a lot of people crowding my gym but they do deserve credit four being a reputable business. So maybe instead of stuffing your face you’ll put on a mask, which I wish more people would do while working out, and go to PF and work off some of the isolation weight. Hopefully President Biden will make wearing a mask mandatory everywhere until we get a vaccine for people that are highly susceptible to Covid exposure.

Hayfield location is by far my favorite in the NOVA area. Best staff; always helpful , most spacious, always clean, and black card amenities are always working.

Clean, well-run, and so much more to do than I expected! The commercials really do not do PF justice!

Hayfield Planet Fitness is the experience you need in your life!

I am beyond impressed by Elijah and his staff here at Planet Fitness in Alexandria.My home gym of nearly 20 years closed down during the pandemic, and Elijah and his staff made a special effort to make me feel right at home at Planet Fitness.Initially, I was asked to just fill out a form on an IPad with my personal information, and the staff here were completely ZERO pressure in getting me to sign up. I was then told that I could try out the gym free of charge just to see how I like it.I was sold, and signed up today. This gym is by far one of the cleanest gyms that I have ever been to - which is very important to me.Thank you to the Planet Fitness team for being so professional and for keeping such a clean gym. I'm very happy with everything!
