Awesome place, family friendly, clean and prices are reasonable. All the moves of the week is on the website. It's a great tool for students to use for review or to study the moves at any time. As for gear, they have BJJ Gis on stock at all times for all sizes. That was very helpful since I have no idea where or what size I am. You can try it in before buying it. They are also partners with few local businesses in town that you get a discount just for being an ABJJ student (never been to a gym that has that extra benefit)

My kids have enjoyed every minute learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at ABJJ. They have so much respect for Ryder and all the instructors. Definitely a positive place for kids and adults alike.

I have been with professors Ryder Justin Todd and Brandon since the beginning. I remember training my first day.. the day we got our first mats. These guys are the most technical jiu jitsu players and love this martial art. ABJJ is by far one of the best places to train.. I highly respect these guys, not only on the mat but in life as well. After a significant injury, professor Ryder helped me get back on the Mat.. great atmosphere and great training ! Book a class and get in the game! 5 Star all the way!

Absolutely love this place -- ABJJ creates pure jiu-jitsu beasts and somehow manages to make everyone feel included and welcome at the same time. I first met Ryder about 5 years ago when I came through and rolled for one night before leaving to college. Four years later when I moved back to Alaska, I immediately messaged Ryder and he welcomed me into the ABJJ family with open arms. Two months later I dislocated my shoulder rock-climbing and needed surgery (w/ 4-6 mo anticipated recovery). Instead of saying "see ya," Ryder encouraged me to keep coming to class and participating, and made sure to consistently check in with me throughout the entire process. This really stood out to me, and for the last year, ABJJ has become my second home. Highly recommend that anyone looking for a place to train should come check it out! You will not be disappointed.
