I’ve been going to gyms for many years, and this gym is far and away the best. I could actually attend an area college gym for free, but I’d rather pay to go to Assembly.Unlike some of those gym chains, all equipment at Assembly works, and there’s a ton of it now that they’ve expanded the workout area. I’ve never been there when it’s been too crowded to workout. The locker room area is immaculate, the staff are super-friendly, the hours are great, and there’s plenty of parking for both bikes and cars. You can tell that the owner of the gym really cares about his place. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Super nice gym - reasonably priced, great staff, and not packed whenever I go

Expansion is great, updates to 5 star——This gym is clean and new, but there’s a few major items holding it back. Firstly, it is EXTREMELY hot and humid. You’ll start sweating immediately when walking in, even before warming up at all. This rises to being borderline dangerous when working heavy sets.Despite being new the equipment selection feels oddly dated relative to modern programming. The only cable machine is a cable crossover that’s always occupied, due to being the only cable. There’s nowhere dedicated to hip thrusting/glute bridges, and no empty floor space to make one either. There are only two racks for now and a small hack squat without back/shoulder support, and no v squat/pendulum squat/similar so fitting in a squat type movement pattern is quite difficult even during quiet hours. It is nice that there’s a trap bar, and gymnastic/PT style equipment for warming up like Swedish bars.I’m hoping these issues will be improved once the delayed expansion opens, plus reduced crowding. Location is convenient and walkable. Day attendants are friendly.

The recent expansion has been great, although I would love to see a greater variety of machines provided. This is a busy gym and borderline unusable during peak times. The machines are packed in too tight. I have never seen weights more unorganized than at this gym.As others have said, this gym is always warm. During the winter, the humidity is quite stifling. The walls, windows, mirrors, and machines are all fogged over and dripping with condensation. This is not the best gym I have ever been to however the value and convenience for me greatly outweigh the cons.

Bit puzzled by the bad reviews. The just added an extra 40% of space. This is not a power lifters gym. If you can't do a decent workout in this gym with all the equipment, then I would suggest you are the problem, not the gym. Lots of variety. Does get a bit hot sometimes in the main room. I never have a problem waiting for a cardio machine or to get to the weights. The only two problems I see are really caused by the gym members: 1) for some reason about 50% of the people going here do not re-rack the weight plates after finishing on a machine. This is a pain, but for some older members a 45 weight plate is too much to move. Have some consideration folks. 2) People doing a set and then looking at their iPhone for 5 minutes between sets. Sometimes people can be on a machine for 20 minutes when they should be done in 5 minutes.

Very solid gym. They just expanded so they have tons of machines and free weights. Limited classes.

Gym has improved significantly since expansion. Many more free weight options and machines. One negative aspect of this gym is that they constantly air a right wing news media channel. It seems like they’re trying to attract a certain type of patron. Id prefer it if they just played sports on all tvs

Probably fine for most, but the Hoist equipment and equipment layout are horrible.20+ years experience in gyms at a high level, I joined ASC after herniating a lumbar disc and needing access to basic machines and stairs as I could do very little spinal loading but did not want to atrophy through physical therapy, so free weights were temporarily not an option. I was very disappointed to find the equipment this place offers. Everything has massive handles, poor ROM, and no static stability. Hoist is gym equipment that moonlights as an over encumbered rollercoaster. Maybe this stuff appeals to complete novices, but its very gimmicky and ineffective at what I need -- to isolate a muscle.Additionally, I docked another point because the general layout is poorly designed and they blast Fox news on massive TVs.

This gym is great, but the music unbearable at times. The speakers are pointed down making the music bounce off of our heads. Pointing them sideways will create a better workout experience. Bring your ear buds! 🎧 …
