THE CLASSES ARE CHALLENGING BUT FUN AT THE SAME TIME!!!

I like the variety, and I like that it is planned out for me. I dont have to manage what i am going to do. I just show up and do what I am told.

Not for me, but if you like group workouts with loud music and somebody dictating what you need to do next on a microphone then go for it.

I went for the free class. Joined the same day. So for me , that says a lot. It was Exactly what I was looking for.

Love OTF. I live in Michigan and was in Arlington TX for work. It was so easy not to miss a step and get my workout in while out of town. The staff and coaches were so welcoming and the workout was great!

This is the worst kind of gym possible. This gym is not for people who has a life outside because they want you to revolve around their schedule. It would make sense if they had a good workout but empty hopes and waiting for you to do something so they can charge your card!!!

Before I went to my first class, I read several reviews, but I still didn’t know what to expect. In the past, I didn't enjoy working out in a group, because sometimes I felt I could push harder or sometimes I could barely make it through a workout and I didn't like to slow others down. With that in mind, you should know that here you are always 'competing' against yourself and you can workout at your own pace. Here is a list of the things that I LOVE about this place:• Workouts are different every day• I can constantly check my heart rate• Coaches keep me focused• I never enjoyed running on a treadmill until I joined the studio• I feel and see changes on my body every day• Front desk people are super nice• Coaches are amazing. How are workouts? This is how it works:30 minutes are on the treadmill (or bike or strider if you need to). You get to decide whether you're going to be a Power Walker, Jogger or Runner. Coach is constantly telling you what to do (increase incline or speed, go back to your base, walk, etc … you'll get the hang of it).The other 30 minutes you will be lifting weights. If you have orthopedic issues, there are always options so that you don’t get hurt. Sometimes you will have a combination of lifting weights and rowing, but believe me, it is never the same.At the beginning of your session you always get to pick your poison: go get that treadmill out of the way or 30 minutes with weights… and then you switch. If you start with weights, there is a 3 minute warm up on the rower. Why do I like OTF North Arlington more than my previous gym and Personal Trainers?Workouts are 60 minutes long. Before you start your workout, Coaches already know what exercises you will be working on, which is soooo much better because you are not wasting time moving from machine to machine, or waiting for your Personal Trainer to come up with something. Also, there's NO cheating… what do I mean with this? In the past, I would show up to my old gym for my PT session and some trainers didn't remember what I worked on last time, so they asked me what I wanted to work on… are you serious???!!! I have determination, but if I could skip 'Leg Day', I could easily do it…Do I recommend OTF?YES!!! I sure do! Regardless of your size, gender and age, I hope my review encourages you to come and check it out. Yes, you will be tired and sore for some time, but you'll get over it and after a while you will enjoy it.
