Orange Theory has truly become a family affair! We love everything about this gym. The trainers are amazing and never fail to get the most out of you and to remind you why you walk through the doors everyday. We enjoy that every workout is different so there is no getting bored! If you are looking for a change, this is it!

I love OTF Applewood (and Arvada)! The trainers are incredibly motivating and make it a point to learn your name. It definitely gives me the push I need when I hear the trainers call my name while running or rowing, encouraging me to get that orange or challenging me to try a heavier weight. If you’re one of those people who needs someone to tell you exactly what to do, this is the workout for you. If left to my own devices, I’d never get a workout even close to OTF. The front desk staff is great, the facility is clean, the coaches care! I’ve been to most of the OTF locations around the Denver metro area and none of them compare to this one. In fact, there’s a studio closer to my house, but I travel out of my way to workout at Applewood because they’re simply the best. The Arvada studio is owned by the same person and is equally awesome. Zak and Dylan are by far my favorite coaches, but they are all great!

Good afternoon, Yelpers!Let me begin by saying that the trainers at this location are phenomenal. However, the inept management has hired crash dummies to operate the front desk. This is the 4th time I have received poor customer service, due to a lack of communication. As an IT project management consultant, the PMI tells us that 90% of what project managers do is communicate. I translate this principal into other areas of business as well because it alleviates situations such as this and prevents bad reviews of your organization. I registered for the 90 minute class that occurred today on Thursday of last week. I told the individual on the phone that my new home gym is located in the Highlands. That information was not passed along… I was stopped as I was leaving this afternoon, told I should not have attended this class, told I need to pay a drop in fee and annoyed to no end. I had to explain, again, that I cancelled my membership at the Applewood location (because of the poor customer service) and rejoined at the Highlands location, which has always been outstanding in all aspects. The individual became attitudinal when I told her the membership I now have. Free lesson in business: It does not matter how qualified your trainers are, the front desk is the face of an organization and is the first and last impression. If a less than optimal experience is experienced in the very beginning and/or at the very end, that is the experience that lasts. I know they are capable of obtaining this information because it is passed along at all other locations I frequent i.e. Cherry Hills, Highlands, Belmar and etc. Thus, I suspect indolence.

The moment I walked through the doors to Orange Theory I felt welcome, at home. The entire staff was supportive, patient and encouraging. I usually don't care for group classes, this was different. It was easy to follow, no pressure and no judgement. I will definitely be signing up after my free introduced class and I would encourage any and all fitness levels to give Orange Theory a try!Thank you,Amy Michelle Schafer

I love the energy, the music and the great coaching staff, especially Allison. She is very motivating. I also love the validation of seeing how hard i am working when i look up on the screen. It is a great overall fitness program

This is what I think is great about the Orange Theory workout, as a beginner who is not yet very fit. That it is rigorous and intends to strengthen the heart, yet it gets adjusted to the reality of the person's current physical condition. That we are encouraged to press in even when it is very hard, but also honor the individual's right to hear their body and give them grace to stop if the particular set is too much. The stats that are reviewed at the end of the session.I wholeheartedly recommend Orange Theory Applewood to anyone that desires to get back to healthy living.

Positives: Workouts & instructors are great and I can't say enough about the studio staff. They're an absolute pleasure to work with and really get me stoked to go into class each day.Negatives: Orange Theory-branded heart rate monitors are pretty much required to get the most out of class. They're expensive and only work about 50% of the time (for me). Pretty sure I have a really shallow heart-rate though, so this might just be my experience. My partner Max doesn't have an issue.Unfortunately, I had a pretty bad experience with the owner of this particular studio. He was condescending and rude on the phone, and was unable to help me cancel a membership WITHIN the 30 day notice period they require. Thankfully, other OT staff helped me get things sorted out.

I love everything about this workout! I have been going to Orange Theory for 2 years and I have never done the same workout! The instructors are very motivating, the environment is very positive, you burn a ton of calories, and after an hour you know you have accomplished a lot!!
