Either invest in more Smith Machines or start banning people from doing hip thrusters in the squat rack. There's a million other ways to do that exercise. Sucks waiting on a rack for an hour while 3 of them are being used by someone messing with a phone and doing a set every 15 minutes so they can tik tok their hip thrusters.

Nice and clean. Usually not too crowded. All equipment is in working order.

Great place to workout, nice and professional workers, lots of great machinery also the establishment is always clean and sanitary.

I like that I have tan massage and gym, inexpensive, everything always clean and employees knowledgeable about everything from the machines to the lotion I’m looking for, for my tan!! Employees always friendly and willing to talk or take the time to explain something and positive about their place of employment!

Planet fitness Athens is great! Social fitnessing is in place, the staff keeps it clean, and the cleaning supplies and towels are always available! I appreciate and love that the air is fresh and not humid or stuffy, even on busy days. The ventilation system is working and appropriately set. That is high on my list of an enjoyable workout experience! As always.... a judgment free zone! Go and get it! 💪👊👍❤

Love this place, and working out . It's a great place to get fit with a friend, or family member .

Gym is good sized. Staff is courteous. The locker room is a little cramped.

The Planet Fitness has broken biking machines that inaccurately report mileage and use. There is a lack of onsite management. Many in the staff are not trained with regard to customer service. But the worst thing about the Athens location is it fails to be accountable for its failed deliverables and is out to charge fees for cancellation due to them. The place needs to be bought with a real management firm running it. DO NOT get SOLD on FAILED SERVICE OFFERING!

Clean facility, lots of equipment so I never have trouble finding a treadmill, I feel safe as a single woman to work out there. My only complaint is that the muscle heads hog the circuit training equipment so I can't complete the circuit

I REALLY want to give this place a better review. I'm a member here, but I don't think I will be for much longer. I have been a member here since May and since that time, three out of the six StairMaster machines have been out of commission. That is 8 months. It's one of the more popular machines whereas the gym is full of treadmills and ellipticals that are never filled. The staff is great and the price is good but I really wish they would put more thought into having more working machines that people want and less of what doesn't get used as much. It's also weird to be at a gym without an actual squat rack. The inside could definitely be better organized to allow for more room for working out with weights.
