Planet Fitness is in a convenient location, you can go any time, there are plenty of machines for whatever you want to do, there are lots of TVs, it's very clean, and the massage chairs are the best!

Athens Ga PF is our home gym. We have been members for over a year now. We usually go early in the morning...around 5am. We have on many occasions seen homeless people sleeping on the hydro massage tables, and on the couches in the relaxation zone. I understand if they have paid their membership, but I need to know if they are running a homeless shelter, or a gym. It makes my wife very uncomfortable even going into the black card area because you never know what you are going to find. When I say homeless...they are there with their snacks, bags of clothes, and in street clothes, not workout attire, covered up with sheets, sleeping on the massage tables or couches. We have brought this to the attention of the front desk folks, but they have done nothing about it. I understand if PF has no policy banning sleeping in their clubs, we just need to know that in order for us to find another gym that is more concerned about the atmosphere in their gym. Other than that, we like the gym!FOLLOW UP...6-20-22...after months of not having any issues of people using the "relaxation zone" as a bedroom, they are back. I mentioned it to the lady at the front desk, and her response was "it's a thing, and there is nothing I can do about it".

I like to hit the gym after work, and the employees are always friendly even though I'm there at midnight.It's a safe, convenient, cheap option. With plenty of machines and weight to keep me working out for a long time to come.

Poor Customer service, they refuse to cancel my membership. I have no problem with the gym itself, the facility is a perfectly fine place to work out, but I have attempted to cancel my membership multiple times now, both in person and over the phone but they continue to bill me and add extra charges. wouldn't recommend.

I have been a member for a few years and I absolutely love this gym and the vibe it gives! I would definitely recommend if you are knowledgeable in safe exercise and experienced. Now that covid is old news, they have brought back the trainers. Individuals who are not experienced in working out might be a little intimidated or lost, but if you ask literally anyone in the gym most are willing to help and give advice! Overall, I really love this gym!

First time back in nearly 6yrs. Was greeted with smiles and worked one on one with a trainer. Very friendly. Excited for my return tomorrow afternoon.***UPDATE*** Still going strong and enjoying my workout sessions!

Love the atmosphere! Great attention to cleaning and keeping equipment ready for all to enjoy safely! Total Body Enhancement Room and Hydromassage a big plus. Most of all....GREAT PEOPLE at the Front Desk!

I repeatedly find the showers & changing stalls not just dirty, but unsanitary...there are always gobs of hair in the shower floors--some that's been there 3-4 days!!! Since my last visit!! I just would like them to do a thorough cleaning at least once a day! Twice would be nice. Otherwise, I love Planet Fitness...but I've never visited one that was this unkept & I've had 4 memberships with PF. I can't recommend this particular PF at present as I think it should be avoided for sanitary reasons.

I go pretty late at night, but the staff are always cleaning during downtime, and they appear to be very thorough with it as well. There are multiples of just about every machine (especially cardio ones) and weights. There are locker rooms with showers and there's even tanning and massage areas for just a little extra per month. Definitely the best 24/hr gym I've ever been to. Probably the best in general too.

Always clean, well staffed, and quiet. There are 4 massage chairs and 2 massage beds. I love to get in one of them after working out. Very well equipped also equipment wise.
