Had a rude interaction about 6 months ago with a young man signing me up - about high school or college age. He asked to see my phone (I assumed it was part of the sign up process). I gave him my phone, he opened the facebook app, and started liking Crunch Fitness Perimeter’s Facebook posts on my personal account. He gave me no prior warning. When I realized he was on my personal facebook account, I immediately asked for my phone back. He did not return me my phone until after liking several posts. After handing it back, he looked at me in confusion as to why I appeared upset/shocked. I finished my workout upset by how unprofessional that whole interaction was - and I have not returned since. Everything was great until that point, and he really fumbled my entire experience. I’ve been going to LA Fitness up the road ever since. It’s a shame, crunch is newer, has nicer equipment, and a younger vibe that tops LA fitness… but the disrespect was unacceptable. Not sure if the employee is still there or if this practice is still happening. I never had this experience at other Crunch locations. I will say shoutout to Buddha though, he was very friendly.

Shady business operations! I was approached in Walmart by a Crunch Fitness employee and signed up for the 7 day trial. I attempted to cancel my trial on day 4, but was advised I needed to mail in a letter to cancel my trial. As you can imagine, the letter didn’t reach them before I was charged at the end of my trial. Now I have to pay this month’s fee as well as next month’s fee in order to cancel my membership($60). They play the game well, I just hate I lost. Lesson learned!

Worst salesmanship I’ve ever experienced.I had a valid 1 day free pass to try out the gym, and I allotted an hour to do so. I got there and explained I’m new to the area and would like to use the free pass to see if Crunch was a gym that resonated with me.The employee had me fill out all of my info again. He asked for my fitness goal and then backhandedly told me it wasn’t a real goal. Despite saying I was on a time crunch and just wanted to briefly try it out, he toured me around and showed me the expensive facets that I said were unnecessary. Clear indication that he was pushing a sale and not listening to my wants and needs. Then after all that, he said I live too far away to use the free day pass (I live 10 minutes away). He knew my address from the get-go! Wasting my time.I spoke with the manager Mikko, who did not qualify my objections. He told me I could pay $15 for my now 20 minute workout, or I could lock in my credit card. I explained I just wanted to see if I like the gym first, and he said, oh don’t worry you don’t get charged for the first week. To which I said, great, so I can cancel if I don’t end up loving it. But nope— he wouldn’t allow me to do that knowing that I might cancel. I wasted so much time to not even try out the gym. Crunch is a scam.

I had a terrible experience here. The one day free trial they offer is a total scam, and they won't let you use it unless you sign up for a membership program before working out. I was planning on joining this gym given its proximity to my work, but the interaction with the sales team was so atrocious that I opted to pay more for a Onelife fitness membership instead.

My fiancé and I joined Crunch this past January and we couldn’t be happier! The plans are so affordable compared to other local fitness clubs, and the amenities are perfect for our needs. We love the HIIT classes that are offered every week, and the staff is super friendly and accommodating!

My initial experience at this Crunch Fitness was excellent. Jojo cut through the BS and straight to the point, which I strongly appreciate. So far, great staff. Looking forward to training here.

The gym is OK but the bathrooms need work. My biggest issue is that when joining they asked me for both a credit card and a bank account. I tried to cancel the membership before moving out of state and I had to speak to the manager to do so but the manager was never there each time I tried. I ended up moving and they do not let you cancel online or via phone. You have to mail a letter like if we lived in 1900s. I went to another crunch in Florida in person and the manager said says he can’t cancel it either and I have to mail a letter 🤦🏻‍♀️ Huge inconvenience and I would never join again.
