The billing system is a mess. I had my fiance on my account and they never charged me, now we have a collection notice from a bill that never came in. The cancelation is impossible. You have to buy your way out.

I've been getting the run around for months trying to cancel a gym membership for my minor child who is a high school student for months!! Keep being charged for fees even tho I've demanded to close the account. Customer service is a joke very hard to deal with them

Staff aren't the friendliest and are very rude when asking them any questions, so I just avoid them anytime coming in. Not the cleanest gym I've been to either. Wish their massage chairs got fixed as well. Only 2 working right now.

customer service can be betterTold three clerks at the same time to have a goodnight didn’t get a response so I made sure I went all the way up and said have a goodnight so they would respond .Other than this I love this gym. :)

If you want to make a quick buck at the expense of injuring yourself go here now! Everything is literally broken at this gym. All the equipment all the weights, missing grips, hooks for pulleys, even down to the toilets and drinking fountain. You can EASILY sue for the messed up equipment here if you got injured. It’s a law suit waiting to happen. There’s wipes laying around everywhere so I’m at at least the machines are being wiped down I think?

I use it for the cardio theatre, pool/hot tub, massage chairs, and KidCare mostly. Cardio machines in the theatre are down constantly; there are also lights on the floor that aren’t always secured, creating a tripping hazard. Pool and hot tub do their job, but the FLOORS and tiles surrounding the water are GRIMEY—it is just really gross! The showers are just as bad, which also come with a very unpleasant smell. Massage chairs are down quite often, which is very annoying/frustrating. The only saving grace is KidCare, which is such a blessing and so worth the price!Regarding personal training: Don’t do it! The price is good for PT, but the PT isn’t always good. I went through 4 trainers in a 3-month period; 2 were actually really good, and the other 2 not so much. It sucks because it undermines your workout plan as you start anew every few weeks. The trainers don’t stay because the pay isn’t good. I know this, because I’ve discussed that frustration with 3 of them. The portion they receive of what you pay is a joke! In addition, if you miss a session for whatever reason, you still lose 1 training session. If this happens, the trainer loses that session, gets NO MONEY and VASA pockets 100% of the cost of that session. Also, one of the PTs told me they tried to push them to do work around the gym that was not initially discussed in their interview. Lastly, they promised to put my PT on hold and did not. Luckily, in talks with customer service they are refunding me for that time period. I am very appreciative of that excellent customer service!

Vasa as a gym is decent for the price, but DO NOT get involved with their personal training. My wife signed up for an initial consultation with 6 months of personal training, which she had 3 days to cancel and get out of the agreement for the personal training. She was told to come in at a certain time to meet with a manager to cancel, at that time the manager was not available, and by the time she was able to reach the manager for help it was past the cancellation period. Also, the expectation is that the customer accommodate the training staff for appointment times rather than them accommodating the customer. Her trainer became very limited in his availability due to his own competition schedule and was not helpful in helping my wife find another trainer. Finally, when she told them she did not want to continue past the 6 months they charged her for an additional session because she did not let them know 30 days in advance which she was never told was the expectation.

Not the gym to go to if you like working equipment. At any given time, you’ll find at least 5 popular machines not working. Yesterday, my first 3 machines I went to use were broken. All 3 are the only version of those machines in the gym. The equipment is extremely old and even the ones that do work, do not work properly. They don’t even provide enough handle attachments for the functional trainer machines. There’s not a pair of cable grips in the entire place. Asked to speak to a manager yesterday and was told one wouldn’t be in for a couple hours. Massage chairs are always broken, as well.Just a horribly mismanaged location and it all has to do with the quality of the equipment and the countless machines that are broken at any given time. Bathrooms are disgusting. Urine all over the men’s room floor. Staff is nice but they means nothing if the gym itself is trash. Worst part is management will respond to this with a generic response saying someone will reach out and they never will.(Insert generic mgmt response below)EDIT: Gym just gets worse. There’s a new piece of equipment broken every day. A week+ until it’s fixed. 2 of the 4 massage chairs aren’t working. Multiple treadmills aren’t working. No other way to put it, this is a horribly managed, dump of a gym.

Every couple minths I get charged a late fees on cards that are current and show no charge attempts

Scam. Regulation fees, cancellation fees. They want to fool around the customers.. if you want to cancel your subscription, it will be around 100$ total..
