Very good price, but the gym is not sanitary and always has broken equipment and other miscellaneous things that aren't properly working.

If you like old equipment and hidden fees, you will love this place. The equipment hasn’t been replaced within 10 years or so. There’s additional fees to any membership including a sign up fee, yearly maintenance fee, monthly membership fee, and even a fee to downgrade from a premium membership to basic ($50!). When I went to cancel, I wasn’t even able to since they only cancel memberships on the weekdays. Also, I’m getting charged for my next months payment because I didn’t cancel 2 weeks in advance. Just go to planet fitness. It’s worth the longer drive there.Edited: since then, xsport has decided to waive the cancellation fee as well as the additional monthly fee charged after cancellation. Thank you for the help.

NEW CLIENTS..PLEASE PLEASE READ!!!!I had posted a complaint before. However, I have changed my mind. Hear me out.So, I worked with old managers before the covid shut down. I will not name names since I am not a negative guy, but I had had it with their scummy tactics. I was ready to cancel and give up on Xsport. However, I saw that it was under the management of Alex and Kirsten (is that how you spell your name?) anywho. Alex took great care of me and listened to me as a customer not a number. I ready to cancel and have nothing to do with Xsport, but Alex and the team he manages listened to my needs and help me find the best plan for my situation. The day Alex is no longer their, I will cancel my membership. Give him a raise and take care of him, for he has taken care of every customer in the gym. This is not a request it is a promise.

What can I say, they tell me one dollar sign up, then 5 days later bill me for the first month, then 8 days later bill me for a maintenance fee, and now want another payment of 20 bucks. Was told the maintenance fee is 30 days after sign up. And free month? Turns out I have to wait 6 months for that. Shady business, terrible communication. Gym is filthy, and people are walking around with snot rags wiping things off.

Needs to update on their equipments. They can’t seems to keep their cardio machine running without breaking down. One of the flat bench is leaning amd unbalanced. Brought it to management on numerous occasions and nothing have been done. Needs more weight plates. There isn’t enough. Plus some of those weight plates are on their last legs. They charged a annual maintenance fee to keep the gym operating efficiently. Yet there are no indications of them using that money for remodeling.

Excellent trainers here. Miranda pushes but knows my limits. Outstanding instructor. Others I have encountered are Tom and Jan. Can't go wrong with any of these 3.

Unethical. Signed up for 1 month. Continued charging. Called twice and went in once. No call backs. Said they would stop the charges, but didn’t. Will never do business with XSport again. Phil, the General Manager at the Batavia location is non-responsive.

Somewhat clean. Most of the treadmills work. Staff is sometimes friendly. Cheap. Good bikes for Spin class. Instructors of classes are very good.
