They’re revolutionizing the game! Such an awesome experience every time you step into ABC. The coaches are very knowledgeable and teach you the proper skills and techniques for boxing. One of my favorite parts is that they cater to all levels: from beginners who have never put on gloves before to high-level fighters with years of experience, everyone is treated with incredible respect. Love the classes, love the atmosphere, love the people!

10/10 recommend!! I have been to 2 other boxing/kickboxing gyms in Austin and this is by far the best. Not only do they focus a lot on skill and technique, but they go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels comfortable and included. The instructors have really created a great community there!!

Great workout, pristine gym and friendly instructors! I was a little nervous because it was my first time boxing and my first time working out in a while, but the class was good for a variety of skill levels. Everyone could go at their own pace on the circuits, and we got to try a variety of different moves, starting with one easy routine and building on the knowledge. Natalie showed me the ropes (pun intended), and she was super encouraging too! Will definitely be back!

Can't recommend this place highly enough. These guys strike a perfect balance between a workout and actually learning technique. These guys really know their stuff without taking themselves too seriously. No commitment needed. You can pay for a single class, they'll show you the ropes. For me, one class was enough to decide to sign up for a full on membership.

Great boxing gym for all levels! You have to come check this place out regardless of where you are in your boxing journey. If you’re a beginner looking to learn proper technique and get into shape, the coaches are very knowledgeable and friendly so you’ll feel supported every step of the way. They also offer advanced classes for experienced boxers that teach proper ring and defensive techniques. I absolutely love the structure of the classes and that there are always several coaches coming around to help you make improvements and motivate you.The gym has quality equipment and everything you need to polish your boxing skills - cobra reflex bags, double end bags, speed bags, leather heavy bags, and a full size ring.Awesome vibe all around. I’ve been coming here for almost a year and it really feels like a community. Everyone (members and coaches) make you feel welcome and supported. Come check it out and fall in love with boxing.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Archetype Boxing Club. This is not your average gym! The coaches are super approachable and the members come from all walks of life. When I started, I was out of shape and completely new to boxing. The workout is incredible, but I was surprised at how much fun it is to learn as well. I can feel (and see) constant improvement and it has been great motivation to keep pushing harder. Im in the best shape Ive been in over a decade and it all started with Archetype.

Brand new gym with top notch instructors. I used to train with Sean and Tyson in Santa Barbara so I'm thrilled that I have a real martial arts gym to go to when I visit Austin.I absolutely love the retro vintage boxing decor as well. Everything is brand shiny new and so much passion went into starting this gym up. They cater to beginners as well, but what I love is that as someone who has trained in the martial arts for most of my adult life, I still get quality instruction from them. I have fun and am always learning so it's a no brainer.Totally worth it!FYI: It's so new that Google Maps isn't correct. It's actually right next to Chipotle.

Absolutely fabulous gym. They teach to all levels and really support beginners. The classes are the perfect size for diversity of partners and individualized coaching. The staff is attentive and gives clear feedback that focuses on building good habits and improving technique. In just a few months, I have obtained a solid boxing foundation that has helped me start sparring with confidence. That’s the key. Confidence. The community is optimized for each member to leave the gym with confidence in their body control, power, and movement. It starts with the wonderful coaches and percolates into the members. I have yet to meet an unfriendly face. It’s not just a workout; it’s a chance to learn a sport from caring people who really know what they’re doing.

Great new boxing gym in Austin! Even if you have never boxed before you will enjoy this gym and get a great workout. Boxing gyms and instructors can be intimidating to try but Archetype does a good job at structuring the class size and flow to all skill levels. They focus on technique but not so much so that it takes away from you getting a good workout in. The classes include a mix of heavy bag work, holding combos with a partner, speed bags, and body weight movements/abs. The instructors will also do private sessions for those who are interested in 1:1 work. They have gloves there for members to use, as well as clean showers and bathrooms. The instructors clean everything thoroughly after every class. The owners also went all out designing this gym - I love the old school boxing posters as wall paper. The owners, gym staff, and instructors are really what set this gym apart from the rest. They are enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and all around good people! Go try a class and you will not regret it!

I cannot express how much I love this place, the coaches, and the people who go to Archetype! Not only do you get a killer workout in, you build a foundational skill set, and best of all a community of great people! As a first time boxer- they really take the time to show you the ropes, like good form with punches, how you should move your body for each, and the technical skillset needed for combinations. Also, I love the way they teach the classes, honestly you will never get bored. Every class is unique with different combinations, skill levels, and options. By the time class is finished you don’t even realize time is up! If you are looking for a place to have fun working out and also gain a new skillset this is the place for you!
