My daughter started a couple weeks ago and we’re so happy to be apart of this community. The staff are friendly and supportive. So are the families. I really enjoy how other families show their support not only for their own kids but to the rest of the kids in their classes.

Gracie Barra Avondale is a Certified Premium Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School. Their facility is very clean, and sanitized accordingly. Their staffs were very professional. We had attended many BJJ schools around the US and GB Avondale is one of the best. Very welcoming environment, family oriented, fun, and they instill discipline to their students.The level of instructions were immaculate. Professor Mike and Professor Josh were very detailed, the mechanics of the art was explained so well that it was easy to execute during drills. My kids and I, love this self defense school. I highly recommend Gracie Barra Avondale for anyone that is looking for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu School.

Great Place. The Professors and Coaches Work You, Shape You, and Mold you to become greater than you were before you walked in. You learn every day even if you already know it. I highly recommend this school for both you, your kids, and your daily life.

Our daughter Valerie was getting difficult to handle she would get mad at everything and she would cry if something wasn’t given to her like a reward. if she was doing good in school she thought she deserved a new toy or something. signing her up at Gracie Barra jujitsu has been great for her not only is the discipline there but she’s actually learning because she gets home wanting to practice. We have definitely seen a change in her she really enjoys it ! And is always excited to go!Thank you for everything professor & coaches!😀

Gracie Barra Avondale has a great team of coaches. We have two kids who are learning great skills and life lessons. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a place for your kids, or yourself, to learn a new skillset.
