In-Shape Health Clubs

I liked this gym, staff and it,s cleanliness and still I do .I carry my own hand towel no exception due to my own principals. This time I forgot it home. I asked the guy for towel from the gym front desk. He treated me as if the request for towel is big deal!! He gave me one by asking the questions such as are you on payment plan charge on towel. Well to this point is ok. He did his job. But the attitude and investigating if I have account for receiving the towel was too much for me as a one who is frequent client. My expectation was higher from this gym before. By the way just after receiving the towel, I returned it to receptionist intact.Thank you for good customer service!

Excellent ambience, superior floor plan, excellent workout equipment, comfortable tables and chairs, Olympic size pools,, great restrooms and private showers, TV viewing with multiple channels, comfortable seats with TV in locker rooms and near the entrance and by the snack bar, friendly and supportive staff and fine parking. There’s also a spacious steam room, sauna and jacuzzi with assistant seat, remote controlled, for those with mobility disability with spacious disability shower and toilet rooms. The towel service and shower gel are available. I highly commend and recommend these outstanding gym clubs with workout beverages.available and other related items for sale.[One exception: no elevator service available in their two-story buildings.]

I didn't even want to give one star because my experience was that bad, but you have to give at least one to provide feedback. Customer service was horrible. I was on hold for over an hour to try to put my membership on hold because I do not feel safe going to the gym at this time. The first time I called after sitting on hold for over an hour, I was told I would have to speak with a supervisor and they would call me back with in 72 hours but the rep did not take my name or information and instead just hung up on me. Now as I sit on hold again, instead of waiting a few months to go back to the gym, I plan to cancel my membership and never return to In-Shape. I'm sure there are gyms that treat their patrons with more respect and actually care about their health and well-being.

The staff are friendly .Almost 4 years of commitment they still charged me after a month I canceled my membership.

The staff is very friendly, the machines are in great condition and my son really likes the kids club!

Friendly staff and always clean appearance. Workouts for each person’s strategic goals. I’m glad Dignity Health chose this gym for their fitness destination.

You pay more than other gyms to go here because it's nice but now you also have to pay to use small towels. So you pay for the membership, towels and I'm not sure how often but you pay so they can upgrade the building.

Beautiful gym, Pools are clean and big, People here are great and the employees here are Great, they make you feel warm and welcoming , like family, lots of machines and classes to choose from to reach your goal...Way to go In Shape

The front desk staff is exceptional! The equipment is clean and up to date. Two pools to choose from for swimming! Best health club in Bakersfield California.
