Crunch Fitness - Timonium

You can’t charge someone for a gym membership when they never stepped foot inside your gym!!! Absolute scam and I will never be using a crunch because of your inability to resolve the situation!!!

Was a member at this gym for over 2 years and no new equipment workouts started getting boring, bathroom are dirty more then they are clean. Seems like new staff every week or month. Speaking to a manger seems impossible

It was a nice gym while I went but I'm moving out of the area. When I went to cancel after being a member for 2 years they told me about their "30 day notice" for cancellation. I canceled right after they charged me for April 2 days ago and I'm told I have to pay for May as well. Tried to console me and say I would have access to the gym for all of May. Cool, I won't be there.

I have never even been to the gym before in my life yet they are trying to charge me money. I contacted them and told them the situation and they are not being helpful in any way. They are trying to scam me out of money when I have never even been to the facility. The faculty obviously lacks respect and integrity, and I recommend that anyone reading this choose a different gym to avoid being scammed out of your money.

Customer service was not very pleasant. I’m a member of Crunch in Pennsylvania; not knowing I was 2 days past due on membership the representative literally stated after I scanned my card, “They may allow this in your facility but you’re unable to use ours as you are 2 days past due with fees,”. He Didn’t even give me the chance to pay as he walked away to assist another member. The guy was young-mid 20’s, darker skin, tall, larger, glasses. Date: 3-21-23, 12:05 pm.

Well cared for gym. That said, the class staff have problems sharing. I was trying to stretch in the corner of a class and was completely out of the way, their workout was performed on a mat and the instructor told me I had to leave the room. There were only a total of 3 people in the class and being asked to move was kind of ridiculous unless her perogative was to make me feel unwelcomed. I pay to use ALL the facilities and the other stretching areas were occupied. I have never been met with energy like that at any of the other crunch locations I've visited. I wasn't disturbing them at all and it just seemed rather petty on their behalf. What if I had wanted to join the class but didn't have the courage? That could have completely off put a member in this predicament.I don't want this to be a shade throwing session though, the day shift cleaning man was a beast with the wet vac and did the entirety of the women's bathroom and was constantly cleaning while I was there, thanks for the dedication bro, MRSA is terrifying. The place was definitely nice and the equipment is in good shape if that's what your looking for.

They nickel and dime you. Hate companies like this. Front desk staff is all over the place. I was immediately turned off.

It's OK. Friendly staff, clean workout area, and convenient parking. Nice equipment, but just not enough of it, and very few accessories and grips. Weird layout, as if the machines were set up randomly. ***VERY CROWDED*** Unless you go right when they open (5am weekdays), you'll be nuts to butts with standoffish suburbanites who are, I'm assuming, allergic to saying hello or smiling. Overall, it's not terrible for 30 bucks a month (50 if you want all the bells and whistles you probably/definitely won't use). And if people setting up tripods, dollies, cranes, sliders, and AARI lighting to film themselves workout and block equipment annoys you, AVOID.

Gym is nice, equipment is new and clean. Cancelation policy is insane. You can only cancel when there is a manager there Monday-Friday from 10-5. I will have to take time off work to come do that. They also accept a certified letter only. They will not accept a letter that you hand deliver.
