Great environment for real progress. Doesn’t matter what level you are starting at because everyone is there for the same reason. Just wish they had more machines and was bigger with more room to do floor workouts.

The facility is about par with the competition but the membership agreement is terrible. When I signed up I provide two forms of payment. At some point I cancelled the first CC due to fraud and they started processing the payment from my second card. Seemed like no big deal until I went to cancel my membership and they informed me that they charge 150% fee for processing the second card. Im sure its buried somewhere in the agreement I signed two years ago so Im on the hook for it, but that is so counterintuitive to the way respectable companies treat clients (10-15% service fee) that I was not expecting this magnitude of scam. Most gyms have agreements designed to make it difficult for their members, but this place is probably the worst.

Not too crowded at the time I went as a guest. They did have cleaning sprays and paper towels available throughout the facility. The staff was friendly and helpful.

It has not been the best experience for me at all. Didn't get a tour of the gym, it doesn't mean a lot to someone that's been in the gym before but for me this is my first time ever going to the gym in my life. So my experience is horrible I don't know how to work all the equipment and there's never no one willing to show you. Wasn't really aware of the contract of $42 and that they're constantly charging my card for it.kind of confused about that because I barely go to the gym as it is considering canceling my membership and going to another gym.

I haven't worked out in about 2 years and coming to planet fitness felt like I never stopped. I highly recommend this establishment, it's clean, the equipment is great and so is the staff. If you're looking for a gym please give planet fitness a try!

Got a membership here last month when we signed up they put two credit cards on file. A month later they try to charge a annual memeber ship fee and one of the cards declined due to one of us losing wallet but when I went to work out today Chris stopped me and said I owe a late fee I told him I don't see how when they had two cards on file and I didn't mind paying this annual fee but I don't see why they are charging a late fee when no one called nor did they try to use back up card. He was very rude and was persistent on collecting late fee so I told him to cancel membership I would go elsewhere and he said OK. ALSO NOTE OTHER PEOPLE ALSO HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM. At the end of the day it's about money and not customer service. I think for first time there was a issue I would try to keep a customer vs losing them.UPDATE:I went to my normal location in New Caney and they were very understanding and removed late fee and said Chris should've been able to do the same. Seems like customer service skills need to be taught at baytown location especially after reading others reviews seems like place needs new management

This location is great! Very close to i10. Very clean and it has all the machines. Bathrooms and showers are clean and the customers know the drill about cleaning after themselves. They follow covid regulations which is 👌. Highly recommend them. Stop by and get a hydromassage. …

This specific location is relatively small compared to some others. They have plenty of Cardio machines, however if you come around 5PM on a weekday expect to wait a while for any other type of machine, bench, cable as they are very limited. This location is relatively clean and rules aren't really enforced here. Make sure you sign up when they do their $1 signup fee which is usually every couple months.

Gym was fairly busy. Housekeeper wasn't really cleaning. She was still doing the same area as when I'd gotten there almost 2 hours later. Some ppl are not respecting the gym policy's for cleaning equipment before and after use. Seen several ppl finish but not clean up for the next person. Dressing rooms were dirty with trash and hair all over the floors. Seems very sad that people are not respecting guidelines especially since so many died as a result of covid-19. Feel like the gym attendant should keep a better watch for persons not following the guidelines set.

Amazing facility. I was skeptical about joining Planet Fitness 1 because they are far and few from me and 2 because they just didn't look appealing to me. I took a tour of this location and loved how organized the equipment was. There were stations for strength training, cardio, weights, etc then they have tanning, a machine that helps with stretch marks and blemishes, then there's a hydro message machine that will absolutely put u to sleep; It feels sooooo amazing. The staff is nice an friendly and I love that it's for beginners and not packed. It was under a wallpaper change when I visited but nothing major.
