This gym has some great things going for it such as lots of routes, bouldering and rope. Nice workout area, nice bathrooms. Awesome kids spot. Here are the things I wasn't so impressed with. The setting wasn't all that fun to me, and I know this is totally opinion, but for me and my style I wasn't a huge fan. It does seem stiff for a gym, which I don't have a problem with. For the roped routes I felt I had to make a semi committing move before the first clip on a 10-, which I didn't agree with, again just opinion though. The main thing I thought was ridiculous about this gym was the over the top safety protocols they have. Don't expect to just show up and be rope climbing within the first 15 minutes of being there. First you have to fill out with waiver, same as any gym, then you watch a few minute video about how to Boulder/fall, and sign something that says you watched it. Then for rope climbing you have to do a top rope belay test, and the way they do it did not make any sense to me. It's not practical AND they make everyone use an ATC. Then to the lead climb test, this takes at lease 25 min. They treat everyone as if they just started climbing. The person "leading" is tied into a top rope as well as the rope to lead, the staff member giving the backup top rope belay, while she herself was also anchored to the floor, "just in case" because one time a girl weighed significantly less then the person climbing and got pulled up the wall a bit, so now they make everyone anchor into the floor. And to top it off, for the "lead fall" to make sure the belayer knows how to catch, they make you climb to the very top of the wall then you have to wait until they say you can fall, which doesn't really prove that you are a good lead belay. Every other gym I have been to you have to take two falls, one announced and one not. And then they make sure you know how to use the auto belay and make you get on it and come down once. Maybe I am being dramatic, but I feel like I appreciate safety, and this was just over the top. The staff is trained to follow a long checklist, not to be personable and use best judgement. I am feeling kinda bummed we payed for a month, it's damn expensive.

Really friendly people and staff. Lots of top roping, bouldering, and even a small "normal" gym with free weights and such. I've been here a handful of times and always had a great experience. I'd keep an eye out for "events" if you want to give it a try. The often have nights with free drinks and raffles and such.

This place is awesome! There is a lot of climbing space, both for bouldering and ropes, and even a nice sized kids area. It is always incredibly clean, the setting is great, and it is just an over-all professionally run facility. As a gym owner, I appreciate the standard this gym has set, both in atmosphere and safety.

Good climbing area with some bouldering and a gym. Staff can be a bit bored and mismanaged at times. Definitely worth a visit once in a while.

Great place, music can be annoyingLots of bouldering, tall walls for toprope and lead climbing (unlike VW they provide you with a rope at the front desk) with a trio of autobelays if you’re waiting for/don’t have a partner (they have tags at the desk you can wear to declare you’re looking for one) or just want to run laps for ages. Some cardio machines to warm up on, weights and hangboards. They had the genius idea to have a kids climbing area with shorter walls and a ship and placed it next to the party room so it keeps the small ones and the parties out from under foot and keeps their screaming a little more isolated.Lockers or cubbies, a shower, they keep the restrooms pretty clean.Lots of routes to play on of every grade and they’re pretty accurate with their grading and the setters tend to offer a wide variety of types of climbing many with interesting technique challenges. My only real gripe is they tend to leave the exact same Pandora station on (slow, depressing tunes), so if you’re a regular get ready to hear the exact same twenty songs every single time you go. Somehow the desk doesn’t notice this.

This place is awesome. Great facility. They have AC for the summer and heat when it's cold. Gym section is a nice bonus. The bouldering area are huge and have enough space do you don't feel like you're going to fall on someone, even on crowded nights. Staffs are awesome and they speak English.

Always extremely crowded with people who don't know how to climb and don't know gym etiquette and climb right under you where you could fall on them. The staff just sits behind the front desk all day looking bored. All the time they have comps or teams practicing that take over part of the gym so regular climbers can't use the whole gym. After a bouldering comp it seemed like they didn't change the routes for over a month. My main gripe with the comps and events is they don't send an email out to members when the gym will be closed. One time I hadn't gone to the gym in a week, and when I showed up it was randomly closed for the night for a party. They couldn't send the members an email to tell them that? You have to go to the gym so you can get information on whats happening from reading signs posted. The screaming, crying kids are the last straw. And navigating the cluster that is crossroads mall parking lot just to get to the place. It's a huge gym with good holds and a really nice fully padded floor and actually really good setting as well, but there are just way too many people climbing there and kids...And lastly, why can't they have a water fountain in the front of the gym? There is one water fountain for the entire building!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, regular resets and challenging routes. Reasonably priced memberships as well as drop in rates. Family friendly and options for youth camps. All around A+

Pro shop actually had more climbing gear than most REI's (primarily black diamond gear but a mix of it all)...Super friendly staff and good bouldering walls with a great top out. Some difficult routes and even harder pitches. Havent top-roped there yet but the routes look pretty fun. Only complaint is there are no cracks to run.
