Great job with the renovation. Equipment is fine. Mornings are busy with the silver haired crowd that seem generally clueless about gym etiquette but what can you do?

Update: The recent updates are spectacular. I’m shifting the 1 to a 5. Finally Eagan has come through on a much needed update - adequate machinery for all people and they moved the alpha into their own room which you’re allowed to use the equipment as well when it’s off the training hour schedule.Well done.

Zero Stars -- BEWARE OF KT AKA KATHERINE member specialist. It shouldn't be that hard to cancel a membership if you don't use it. Their been multiple times I came in , called , emailed to cancel, but knows one was willing to help. After multiple attempts of trying to cancel they kept charging me. THEIRS ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE with lifetime people and HR. THEY WONT GET NOTHING DONE ,UNLESS U PAY. ONCE AGAIN BEWARE WHAT U ARE SIGNING UP TOO .. "0 "STARS

Most of us can see, and appreciate the renovations which puts this facility at the very "TOP" of all Fitness Clubs.....Period......However, at the very least they could have researched a bit and discovered that the SAUNA was very popular and too SMALL !This is Minnesota, ( not Florida) , and many of Scandinavian descent.Really ???? Please do it right the next time Chet !( But we love you ! )Bill

Went to see the new renovations and took my children and they loved the day care area gave me a good 45 min. to workout. Was very upset that no swim for kids only on family time Onthe weekends and also family changing room is a joke, no bathrooms no showers no towels just so not family friendly. Let’s just say never again going there. For Eagan being so high up there they really need a new and bigger lifetime.

I have been a member of Lifetime for a little over a year. I moved a few months ago, and in doing so switch clubs. I started going to the Eagen location as it was closer to the house, what a mistake. This gym is always over crowded, dangerously over crowded. I was run into by someone walking around while I was doing butterflies. It dislocated my shoulder. The club offered me an ice pack. It took a month to rehabilitate my shoulder, and I paid for it myself.I returned to workout there and found myself wasting a lot of time waiting to use equipment. My workouts normally take one and a half hours. I was spending two hours in the club and still not getting them done. The last time I was there with a friend. We where coming back from a yoga class heading to the locker rooms. There was a group of kids chasing one another in front of the locker rooms that ran into. The the kids then ran into her. I wouldn't blame this on Lifetime except it happened in front of four Lifetime employees at the folding desk. The employees heard me say something to the kids and when I looked at the employees they looked away quickly to seem like they had not seen the incident. I reported the incident to a staff member at the front desk, and filled out a report on their computer out front. That was two weeks ago, I have still heard nothing.Lifetime Eagan only cares about how many people they can charge. They care nothing about the experience of the guest. This club is supposed to be a Platinum club. I would call it a Plastic club.GO ANYWHERE ELSE, THIS PLACE IS DANGEROUS!

Open 24 hours huh? Website says that, Google says that. So, why am I here at 1 am to workout, if I can't get in, doors are locked. There's no event, or email about the facility being closed. There's nobody at the check in desk, nobody to answer a call.I'll edit this review if I can actually use the gym 24 hours.Edit: I'm here at 1:30 am again, doors aren't locked and staff is present. The gym is decently spacious, their most recent additions to the facility have been good, and I'm sure they'll continue to improve. Plenty of machines and equipment for everyone. The only thing bad I see is typically sometimes the people that go here are a bit clumsy when it comes to putting away their own used towels. That's not the staff's fault I see them cleaning every time I see them.

For what this gym charges, I would expect it to be clean all of the time. It does seem to be better earlier in the day, but I always have to kick away someone's towel that was carelessly left behind, or used wipes crumpled up and thrown on the floor. I went this evening and it was the worst I've seen it. Used towels and wipes were all over the place, and it did not appear that the floor in the weight area had received a proper vacuum in some time. The staff are friendly and generous with their time. This is good. The equipment is of good quality and decently maintained. But the free weight area is small and gets very crowded. They recently finished a big addition, but much of the new floor space was built out as an alpha studio and a gtx studio. It is nice that you can use the new space if there is not a class going, and the new power racks, bars, and plates are of top quality. I am fortunate that I can go over my lunch break during the week. There is usually plenty of open racks. But the main weight area remains relatively tight in space. If I do have to go after work when alpha classes are going, or on a weekend morning, I frequently have to wait for equipment. There are not enough benches or power racks for the customer demand. It can be a challenge to find enough floor space to simply stand in one spot and do dumbbell work.I will continue going to the gym because there really are no other decent options in the area. The closest one in terms of size is LA Fitness in Apple Valley, and that place is a staph infection waiting to happen. But I digress. To get to the point, I would feel just fine paying the high monthly fee if they only did a better job of picking up after those members who don't have the decency to pick up after themselves, or re-rack their plates. I really don't think it would take much to devote a staff member to circulating the floor and keeping it clean, and plates put away, all of the time. It's a very simple thing, and would make my customer experience the premium one that it is intended to be.

I really love this gym. I have been going here for a couple of years and have never had a negative experience with any staff member. They all come across very friendly. The upgrades are beautiful, especially the new yoga studios! My husband and I even moved 15 minutes away, but I won't switch gyms because I like this one so much! There are of course, SOME members that come here that are clueless on certain things, but that's anywhere. I plan to keep coming here for a long time!

Staff are not really that friendly. For the price you pay for the club, the customer service is low, from front desk to the employees folding towels or just the ones going around the building. Also the Lifetime cafe, I believe his name was Jeremy, is very rude. When I would order food there and pay he would throw my card on the counter instead of handing it to me. The locker room is ALWAYS out of paper towels and the towels in the bin are overflowing. People are so disrespectful and leave their towels laying around in the gym area and the locker rooms. Otherwise renovation was beautifully done. The trainers upstairs are friendly and helpful. I asked how to work one of the machines and he kindly showed me how. Thats really the only 2 things that’s great about this gym.
