A great place to accomplish your goals. The prices are fair, and the staff are very kind and know how to do their jobs. You never struggle to get a piece of equipment, and the members are very polite and sweet. One of the best atmospheres I’ve felt in a gym in a very long time.

Experience hasn’t been great, but also hasn’t been bad. It’s a very basic gym with basic equipment. However, I’ve finally decided to cancel my membership due to the fact that they’ve raised the monthly fee by $7. It used to be $10/mo and they’ve raised it to $17/mo although I’m not sure why...? They haven’t upgraded or improved the gym at all, and I’d still rate it a “mediocre” gym. The bathrooms are always dirty, at least one treadmill is out of order all the time, and their AC can’t cool the building below like 75 degrees in the summer, so don’t even try to work out when the sun is out. It was alright when it was $10 a month, but NOT worth $17.

Johnny's Fit Club is the best gym that I have been to in Boise. Sure, it is not one of those GloboGym style places, but in reality do you need some giant gym? For me that answer is: no. The facility is clean, the gym is very well managed, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is great. The place is open 24 hours a day and the per month cost is lower than anywhere else in town (that I know of, at least).

At $10/month you can't expect much and you shouldn't with Johnny's. This location is exactly what you'd expect for that much. A couple machines needed to be fixed or replaced because they were not symmetrical anymore most of the rest could probably use maintenance anyways. Only one pair of dumbbells per weight above 30lbs...sucked. Went out of state for a few months and they said they would freeze my account for six months...they started charging me again after 3. Was two months away from the annual fee when I quit, they still charged me for that.

Johnny’s Fit Club Boise is very, very good. The overall staff is friendly, especially the management group at the front desk. Not a huge gym, but clean, and have almost everything you need, AND even respond to small requests for equipment additions and locker room improvements. 5 stars for sure, too bad I can’t vote 6!!!

I joined Johnny's Fit Club because it is close to work, has all of the equipment I need, and I enjoy the personalized attention I receive. It is a convenient place to get a good workout that suits my personal needs and goals. It is nice to be recognized by my name each time I go there to work out, as well. And lastly, it has a warmer and friendlier environment than other gyms I have belonged to in the past.

The staff at Johnny's fit club are amazing and go above and beyond. I have a spinal cord injury and sometimes need help with the equipment; they are very eager and willing to help. The layout of the facility is very efficient. The equipment is diverse and can meet everyone's needs. The gym is not overly crowded and the members are very courteous.

The gym is okay if you just need a basic workout. Their machines are not the best, but get the job done. Cancelling an account is not easy. You must give 30 days notice and they still charge you. The staff changes way too much and the trainers can be annoying. During their classes you lose quite a bit of space, because their classes take up quite a bit of room. A two star rating for a 24 hour inexpensive gym...watch for $25 charges that take place a few times a year...surprise!

After spending thousands of dollars with them (including expensive personal training session that never got used because I started at a job that did not work with the Gym schedule) the only option they provide for cancellation if life has changed is to go in person and sign a form. Then they charge you the annual fee that has not yet come into play as well as an additional month of dues. I sure hope the additional $35 and waste of my time and gas is worth it because you have lost a potential customer forever. When I expressed my frustration the lady at the counter was very rude saying you signed an agreement. Yes, she is correct 3 years ago I signed a long form with lots of small writing and yes you have every legal right to charge me additional funds but is a a good business model and good customer service?

I started my journey earlier this year and felt I needed... something more. I looked at many gyms, Even joined one, but didn't feel comfortable. I have been going here a month now, and I LOVE It! James was so helpful in getting me started and never made me feel out of place. Not judgemental at all, and so encouraging! You feel like you are going to see friends and leave feeling fantastic!
