clean gym, clean lockers. Nice facility, they have tanning, and massage chairs too.

I really can’t rate this gym as I just missed the $1 down sale. I went in the day after but they didn’t want to hear my reason. I was just too late. Will you be having that sale again?? If so I will be there as I’m so close to the club.

This is the most best gym I have ever been to. The staff is amazing and very caring especially Nelson because he keeps the facilities looking nice and clean overnight. Great environment.

I work at Planet Fitness, and we do everything we can to help other gyms and members. Woodridge is one of the worst gyms I have had to communicate with, they all have attitudes and are very disrespectful to not only me but aslo to my employees. We are all on the same team when it comes to working for Planet Fitness. To give attitude, and be disrespectful is terrible, because it looks bad for Planet Fitness and also the Woodridge location.

Wish I could give no stars. Staff completely and totally disrespectful and rude. (Sunday 1:00) Considering the competition in workout facilities I’m appalled at the treatment of customers and lack of manager available to resolve issue. The willingness to lose a long term customer over an irrelevant issue is infuriating. Taking my money elsewhere!

Clean even in the locker room. Has all the equipment most people need. Not overly crowded. Other members are respectful. Staff is friendly. Truly a positive experience especially compared to Xport fitness.

I work at a Planet Fitness, and we are supposed to always answer the phone. I have called there five times over the course of 20 minutes and they did not answer any of the times. I am trying to fix an issue with one of their members, but they are not answering the phone, and this is extremely frustrating. The member also said that he has had less than exceptional service when going to this club as well.

I have been a member for about the past year. The gym is large, clean, and has a lot of equipment (can't stress enough the cleanliness of the locker rooms and overall facility, they do an excellent job). It is a great gym for a great price to get into the exercise world. However, if you are a more experienced lifter/athlete, you will be discouraged to see the lack of more complex weight machines. They also only have smith machines compared to a normal weight rack, but I believe this is shared among all Planet Fitness locations because it is recognized for being a "beginner/intermediate" gym ("No Judgement Zone"). Most of the machines are cardio equipment.Like any gym, there are some weirdos here. I often get stared at by older males, and have been approached by multiple men complimenting me on my looks or asking for personal contact information. Yes - it's uncomfortable. So if you're trying to get away from that, it happens at any gym, including here.One thing that really bothers me though about this gym is how hot and humid it gets when the weather is warm. It is EXTREMELY frustrating when you are trying to get in a good weight session, and it is as hot inside the gym as it is outside. I get so overheated that it often interferes with the efficiency of my workout, and for that reason alone I have considered switching gyms altogether. You would think they keep the A/C on at all times, but the last time I was working out I was literally dripping sweat until all of a sudden I felt a blast of cool air on me. It could have been a draft, but it sure felt like the A/C... showing that it's not always on. I know cooling/heating costs money, but this is a GYM. Others feel the same way, and if this problem persists I have no choice but to switch gyms. I should not feel uncontrollably hot 5 mins into my workout.

I have tried to cancel my membership for 2 months with no success because I get new details every time I call. I moved out of state and can not go in and take care of canceling my membership. I was told to send a certified letter and I would then be cancelled. No one can find my letter and now I am being told I have to pay a cancelation fee. The assistant manager or the manager never told me this until 2 months later. This could have been sent with my lost certified letter. My mistake is I never set foot in the gym I signed up online and I cant cancel online.Planet Fitness is the biggest joke ever! The staff at Woodridge are very unprofessional in how they speak to customers.It would be so nice to speak to the owner because the staff are running people off from what I hear and read.

Too much cardio equipment, not enough weight machines. Tanning and hydro massage equipment are ALWAYS out of order too. The staff is always friendly and helpful.Responding to owner reply: I have, obviously, in person. Also tried to reach some sort of corporate number or email, but can only get contact information on individual physical locations. Which I don't need because I can go there in person. I started going to this particular planet fitness about two months ago; the hydro massage beds haven't worked the entire time, and now the tanning beds are down everytime I'm there too.
