By far the only Planet Fitness I've ever been to that actually has working equipment, tanning beds and hydro massage chairs. They also take cleanliness very serious, that's including the tanning beds and hydro massage chairs. The other Planet Fitness' I've been to were so dirty, none of their machines were working properly, their hydro massage chairs were broken or didn't have any, the tanning beds were dirty or out of order. I'd definitely recommend this gym and location.

At first, I actually really liked going to this location. Some of the staff seemed a little new, but everyone was friendly and helpful. When COVID hit, I appreciated that they put an automatic hold on membership charges. However, eventually they started to charge me again but did not provide any communication to indicate they were doing so. I had to quit my job to become a full-time caretaker for my father, and certainly had no plans of going back to the gym anytime soon in order to protect my high-risk dad. So I called the gym and kindly asked for a refund for my membership fee since I wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon. I spoke with the manager who seemed like he wanted to be helpful, but he said he couldn’t do anything unless he was given the go ahead by his owners. I basically explained that if they were willing to refund me, I’d simply put a freeze on my membership as opposed to just cancelling. He said he’d email his owners about a refund to see what they said and that he’d call me back and let me know either way. In the meantime, I was charged another $39 annual fee. He never called back, so I called again to inquire about the refund. He said he never received a response but that I could try contacting corporate and they could also assist with a refund. I said that I was disappointed and wanted to move forward with a cancellation, which he processed over the phone. So I called corporate, and the automated message said “if you’re calling about a refund, those can only be handled at store level” and the call ended. So I called the Woodridge location again and the manager said he’d try emailing the owner again, and once more I requested that he call me back either way. That was a couple weeks ago and I have never received a call back. I’m just really disappointed with how they are handling this aspect of their business. I mean, if the owners are the only ones who can handle a $25 refund and they don’t communicate at all.......during a pandemic......maybe they should find new owners.

This has been my go-to location for the last couple of years and this is one of my favorite locations. They are never extremely busy, the locker room is clean for the most part, the staff is super nice and they keep this gym really clean. Today i was finally able to return since COVID-19 and I felt very welcomed back and it was nice to be back home. Thank you Planet Fitness! :)

The new management sucks !! They do not care about their members. I have been there for 2 years now I was really enjoying it until the new management came in. They are rude and treat members badly.

I like this gym. I had to stop going for several months because I couldn’t take the heat. I was afraid that I was going to pass out.I went back today and hope to continue.

I have been working out for 2 hours, none of staff showed up at counter!!! I couldn’t get hydro massage or tanning.... i hope no one will get injured

Horrible general manager Raquel. Horrible attitude! Rolling eyes at customers... horrible customer service. Was going to sign up for membership for sure, just wasn’t sure which one, now definitely going to LA Fitness. She should not work in customer service.

When they say bring your padlock, they mean it. Had money taken from my wallet at the locker room, but at least the thieves left rest behind, just took my money. Be careful when going there.

This place is pretty big and the equipment are new. It's spacious and it has a spa for black card holders. I would recommend this location to friends and family. Lest I forget, staff are pretty friendly
