Customer service is horrible at this location and there is always four or more people working but they make you wait for one computer and no one ever knows what they are doing or the answer to your questions.

Come on PF staff. Working here is not only hide behind the desk and act like you are waiting for a new member to sign up. Go fill up the soap tanks in bathrooms and order torn and worned out vinyl parts of the dirty machines.. dont just stand there and chit chat and laugh all day with other staff..

I really like to go there because the gym is so clean and place not crowded

Love the location in Downers Grove, the staff walks around, it’s well lit and cleaner than my home gym in Naperville.

Dude answering the phone puts 0 effort to answer your questions. When I said letter was sent certified that’s when he got his manners in check telling me how everything is all good. Management you gotta check who’s leaving the last impression on your customers.

The absolute worst planet fitness I’ve ever been to. Me and my friends were working out and we were treated with extremely rude service/behavior by the manager. Right when we walked into the gym we were given dirty looks by the “manager.” When we started our workout we were told to quite down, we did not think much of it the first time and had went on with our workout. After she came up to us again after making no loud noises we were given the worst possible attitude ever which was not necessary at all. It made it seem like she did not want any of us there since the moment we stepped into the gym. She asked us to leave, when no other person working out had a problem with any of us being there and was not even given any type of complaint. As a person of color this situation could be interpreted in many different ways, but the manager who runs this place is horrible. If she is actually the manager of this location the hiring staff is actually dumb for letting her become manager.

I would give this gym a 0/5 stars if I could solely because of management. The manager was very rude and she had a terrible attitude toward my guest and I. I am disappointed I have to even write this review especially for a planet fitness but I felt it was necessary to warn others. DO NOT COME TO THIS GYM IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A JUDGMENT FREE ZONE.

Most individuals who go to the gym essentially go to get fit and always look forward towards the motivation given by the staff. However, in no way does this location do that. The staff here and especially the “manager” is someone who is extremely arrogant and rude towards the people who come to the gym. From the moment me and my friend stepped foot into this location, we were treated with no respect whatsoever. Firstly, we were treated like children in a library telling us to quite down when no noise or loud grunts were made, even though this happens when you’re pushing yourself at the gym. Not a single person in the gym had a problem with us except her. The manager of this location really felt like they had all the power in the world to approach us with such arrogance. I highly recommend a change of staff entirely and I hope you all understand that this location is one that should be avoided at all costs.

Going to this planet fitness was outright one of the worst experiences i have ever had at a gym. The management was blatantly rude, and honestly outrageously disrespectful towards me and my friends. Upon arrival we received dirty looks from the so called “manager” and as we started our workout we received a warning from the “manager” to quiet down, to which we apologized sincerely. As we continued our workout quietly, we were then approached rudely by the “manager” and told we can leave if we have a problem, and that if i can’t handle the weight that i shouldn’t be squatting it. Not only is this an extremely inappropriate comment to make, it was outright rude considering nobody else made it an issue that me re racking my weights was an issue. This manager should be fired immediately, and most certainly did not have a “Judgement Free attitude “
