I’ve fallen in love with Rowhouse! A friend asked me to try Rowhouse with her during the summer (first time for both of us) and it was so fun (in addition to being a great low impact workout) - the outdoor classes on Lovejoy wharf can’t be beat. Views of Zakim, wind in your hair, sunshine on your face, and a team that genuinely cares.I’ve become stronger (and pleasantly surprised at my own enjoyment!) as the app tracks all of your rowing stats - and I can see and feel the improvement! If you’re waffling, try a few intro classes and you’ll be hooked too!

Row House is a great community. The coaches (Gyee, Haley, Kayla, Alana, Evonne, and Sam), Nick, and the front desk crew are the most welcoming, informative, and inclusive team. Their attitude is infectious. Attending classes at Row House feels like getting together with friends, with the bonus of a workout. I love rowing because the coaching staff offers supportive tips to help me improve my form. I can work at my own pace and it’s something that I can continue doing as I grow older. Rowing also complements Pilates, yoga, and strength workouts.

I had a a few wonderful workouts here. The instructors are hands-on, knowledgeable and engaging. The outdoor classes are a great start to the day. Highly recommend for someone who is looking for a challenging workout in a decent and friendly environment

Wow! I was in town a week ago and hopped on a rowing machine (aka ERG) and sweat it out! I am a member of the Santa Monica Row House and it was a real treat to work out at another location. It's SUPER CLEAN with a welcoming shower, fresh water dispenser to refill your water bottle, secure lockers that don't need a lock (just put in four numbers and voila! The locker is yours!) and have a great time with a great community! Most of the machines are outdoors which offer beautiful views of the river locks by the North End.The staff is really friendly and I had a great time there. Whether you're a member or not, it's a great place to get your rowing in Boston without getting wet - except for sweating!

Everyone is here so welcoming and friendly!! As someone who regularly goes to boutique fitness studios around Boston, Row House has the warmest atmosphere from the instructors to everyone else in the class.Their outdoor classes during sunrise and sunset hours are absolutely stunning. Gyee and Haley always check-in especially with newcomers to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone feels comfortable. There’s soooo much encouragement and the instructors are dedicated to helping people anywhere along their fitness journey.Honestly, this class has converted me into a morning workout person!! Bleh- but the hardest part is getting yourself there. Nothing really hits the same as watching the skies, listening to good music, surrounded by fresh air and positive energy ☀️You get the most beautiful views of the bridge and the water!! Definitely try before winter while we still have the sun!!!

Fitness here is so fun! Coaches are passionate, extremely encouraging and total pros. I’ve been rowing for many years at CrossFit. Then found this place and takes my rowing to the next level. Row together with the whole class, to the beat of the music and the meters just keep racking up and the 45 min is done in a flash. Time flies when you’re rowing at row house. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for low impact, high fun fitness. Rowing experience not necessary, these coaches will teach you the way.

I’ve always struggled to find a cardio activity that I actually enjoyed - until I discovered Row House LJW! I’ve been a member since April ‘22 and have really fallen in love with rowing. It’s fun, low impact, fast-paced, music-driven, and the classes often incorporate light weights as well. It certainly helps that everyone who works and rows here is so sweet & encouraging! This studio is incredibly clean and accommodating (filtered water, lockers, towels, hair ties & feminine products). I definitely recommend giving it a try if you’re looking to mix up your workout routine and meet some really great people.

I started rowing for the first time at the end of May. I needed to find a way to increase my cardio workout. After the first class I was hooked. A little less than 3 months later, more than 250K kilometers completed and I've enjoyed my time of the wharf. 3 or more mornings a week, out on the wharf, you watch the boats and water as you row.The classes are all different, they include strength training, either body weight or dumb bells is a great complement. In the past I've done spinning, but this combination of strength and cardio gives you a more rounded workout. The coaches are all incredible, consistent and looking to help you achieve your best results.

The staff are super friendly, the facility has what you need to get ready before your work out and clean up after it. The mixture of different classes and events keep things exciting.
