Row House at Lovejoy Wharf in Boston is more than a fitness facility. It is a place where teamwork, and friendships are created. Gyee, the owner and coach takes her time to welcome everyone and make you feel like a part of the team and not just a member. Nick is the best front of the line guy. And of course, if you want a coach that is fun and full of energy take a class with Haley!!

Row House Boston offers a terrific full-body workout at a friendly, low-key, supportive place. The coaches here will encourage you to test your limits without ever making you feel self-conscious. Because you get out of this workout what you put in, athletes and beginners happily share the same classes and there is a nice mix of genders, ages, and abilities. As someone who genuinely loathes working out (seriously, I hate all exercise), I find rowing is as good a choice for me as for the adrenaline junky one erg over. Row House has also seen me through a 100 lb, nearly 2 year weight loss journey—and is a huge part of how I was able to get fit, lose that weight and keep it off. They offer fun themed rows, and clean equipment. The owner is responsive, warm, and always looking for ways to make things better. Plus the view from Lovejoy Wharf can't be beat. Outside rows feel like you're on the water. This is a great choice for anyone. Jump in the boat!

I cannot recommend Row House Lovejoy Wharf enough! I have previously attended yoga studios, cycle studios, gyms, etc., but I have never had such a positive experience. I had never even used a rowing machine prior to Row House, but all of the coaches were so encouraging and ensure that I have the correct form. The studio is very COVID conscious and has a great mix between outdoor/indoor classes. I was never a morning person, but Row House makes me excited to get up and row before work in the morning! I'm really happy I found Row House.

As someone who tends to have a lot of anxiety tied to “going to the gym” I was fairly nervous to attend my first ever rowing class. Let me tell you, it was a blast!! The staff were super helpful in covering the basics before the class began so I was familiar with the movements. It was a very welcoming and friendly environment, I had so much fun I booked a themed row for later this week. Looking forward to it!

I started taking classes at Row House on 7/30/2021. I began classes with a recommendation from my doctor to help build strength in my shoulder after undergoing several surgical procedures on my right shoulder in May. The classes have helped me more than the Physical therapy. The Row House instructors are incredible, they’re very supportive and encouraging! They celebrate everyone’s milestones and are so very welcoming! I love the classes not only have they helped improve my strength physically but they have done wonders for my mental health as well!

Great workout. My instructor was informative and full of energy. Front desk staff was helpful and super welcoming. My go to workout when I’m in the area

Row House is the most fun, challenging workout. All the coaches and staff here are friendly, welcoming and motivating. I love it!

I hurt my knee and needed to take some time off from running. This Row House just opened in Boston so I figured I would give it a shot to replace the cardio. I found the low impact, full body workout to be surprisingly good. They offer a few different class types with varying ratios of rowing vs other floor or weighted exercises. My favorite so far is the "full row" class which is just 45 minutes of rowing. It sounds like a lot but goes by fast.I've been four times so far and will probably be coming back even after my knee is rehab'ed.

I love row house. As someone who was new to rowing, it was a very welcoming environment! Everyone here is so helpful. I’ve been attending regularly for the past month and plan to keep coming. I like that we row together as one boat so it’s not a competitive environment.

Such a great studio! The staff are all very welcoming and supportive. Clean facilities, vibrant energy in both the lobby and the rowing space! Classes are just 45 minutes, and the FLY by! I left feeling like I got a great workout and some cheerleading along the way. Multiple clients hit some great milestones when I was there. It feels like a community. The classes are high-energy with focus on both personal and group goals. They row to the beat of the music, and the coaches help you understand how to both use the machines and row properly. Can't wait for my next visit!
