New equipment. New restrooms, showers and lockers by mid-February. New tanning and massage facilities also.The place is kept very, very clean.Expanded hours and the location is huge so you always have plenty of room and choices.And, the staff are all knowledgeable and helpful.Great gym.

I LOVe the fact it is a NO critic NO judging zone .. I mostly make use of the treadmill BUT i have had questions about other machines and the staff has always been more than willing tonexplain and even dwmostrate for me how to use them Theu also have a weight sectuon another section called something like 30 min work out which is where you do different excercises by time. The gym is clean NO foul orders or anything like that. They have 10 tv's so u can bring ur headsets and watch a show while exercises or they also have hookups for ipods. Its a nice place many machines friendly staff and hours are great!If u get a chance visit this particualr one on Mcgregor i am sure you will like it and stay !

I always enjoy my workouts here. The staff is nice and talks to me but doesn't try to talk to me TOO much, which is good because sometimes I just want to get in and get out as quickly as possible. The gym is fairly spacious and has a good selection of equipment, with enough repeats of some of the more popular equipment that you usually don't have to wait. The only thing I wish is that they had a larger studio and some classes like zumba etc. The price is really great though, and it's what I'm going for right now

Staff is always welcoming and helpful. Equipment is fairly new and always clean. Very comfortable environment!

It's a planet fitness. Some free weights, lots of machines, elliptical and treadmills all in a single giant room. Locker rooms are adequate with showers and lockers. Tanning for black card members. Seems very compact but it gets the job done.

For the prior review for the person only here for 4 months in the winter, it is plainly explained at the time of signing up, that you need to cancel in person or write a letter. Look at your contract and it'll be circled and underlined. I've joined there the last four winters and it couldn't be easier. Next time pay attention!

I have a great time going in to workout from the owner on down they are helpful and pleasant if u have any questions on your workout they have the answer for you. The equipment is in great shape clean and presentable I love how the whole place is open and if u live here u would know it used to be a furniture store for 15yrs so the windows are from that I know I used to work for them I think its great what they did with the place the money is rite and cant get any better in my eyes

Gee, I read some of the previous reviews and.... what a bunch of whiners. Floor to ceiling windows across the front of the gym a problem because people are looking in? No spray tan? Really? I suggest more time sweating and less time thinking about something silly to say. The place is more than fine. Planet Fitness, Ft. Myers, is about 20,000 square feet, has plenty of modern, clean, great-working equipment and tons, literally, of free weights, bar bells and dumb bells (up to 80 pounds). The place is clean, the purple and yellow paint sparkles, the locker rooms and showers are all good. Oh, and the folks who manage and run the gym are all super helpful, friendly, prompt and quick to engage in conversation. It's a great place to get a workout with options to keep the routine fresh and active.

I go to the one in Fort Myers and it's just fine. It's clean and the people are nice. The equipment is in good shape except the occasional broken piece, but you see that everywhere. It gets crowded at 5 like every gym on the planet so I dont go then. It's got everything I want. I don't go to the gym to feel pampered, I go to sweat and workout and leave. Its perfect for that and I like the place.
