We joined the Fort Myers Planet Fitness 2 1/2 years ago and it was great Megan was an awesome manage. After hurricane Ian we got another manager Sherri was fantastic, she ran the place great but her boss made her leave.Currently the gym is dirty and most of the workers talk to one another and stand around doing nothing. The management isn’t keeping up with the “ Clean Thumb “ sign. Very disappointing.

I havn t been there for a while they had good air conditioning system which is important these days the clientele was strange I pulled out parking good area

Sharri has moved on. So sad. This place is a mess. No one cleans or tends to machines. Compare my review just over a month ago.[ month old review]Big improvement. Sherri has made a big difference. She is a hard worker and is always doing tasks to keep this gym functioning . I'm sure I can speak for many, we all are glade she came on board.

A Disturbing Encounter with Unprofessional Staff - Steer Clear of Planet Fitness!I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience at Planet Fitness that left me feeling disrespected and utterly appalled by the conduct of their staff. I cannot stress enough how appalled I am by the treatment I received at this gym, and I strongly advise anyone seeking a gym to avoid Planet Fitness at all costs.On the morning of June 23rd, as I was diligently working out, I encountered a situation that highlighted the unprofessionalism prevalent at Planet Fitness. Being an individual who relies on a fitness app to guide my training, I discovered that the gym lacked the equipment I needed for a specific exercise. In an effort to find an alternative, I discreetly made a phone call to a friend who happens to be a fitness trainer, seeking advice on an alternative exercise. I spoke in a low, inside voice for approximately ten minutes, ensuring that I did not disturb or inconvenience anyone around me.To my complete shock and dismay, an employee named Trish approached me in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. Instead of addressing the situation politely and professionally, she decided to loudly yell at me, demanding that I end my phone call. Astonished, I calmly explained to her that I was seeking assistance from a fitness trainer friend regarding an alternative exercise, and that I was not causing any disturbance. However, Trish responded with a barrage of insults, claiming that her 15-year-old child had better listening skills than I did. She continued to yell and embarrass me in front of everyone present in that section of the gym. This incident has left me deeply disrespected and humiliated, and I will never forget how poorly I was treated in a public setting.As a direct result of this unacceptable encounter, I immediately deactivated my membership and made a firm decision to never set foot in that Planet Fitness branch again. I find it absolutely unacceptable that a gym that claims to promote a judgment-free zone would employ individuals like Trish, who not only lack basic professionalism but also possess an astounding inability to treat paying customers with even a shred of respect.I implore anyone in search of a gym to look elsewhere. Planet Fitness has clearly demonstrated a lack of concern for the well-being of their members by allowing employees like Trish to create an environment that fosters humiliation and mistreatment. Save your time, money, and dignity by avoiding this establishment.It is my sincere hope that this review serves as a cautionary tale to others, and I genuinely hope that Planet Fitness takes swift action to rectify the deplorable behavior exhibited by their employees. No individual should have to endure the kind of treatment I experienced at the hands of Trish.

The bathrooms are horrible. Spoke with Allen at front desk, his reason is we don't have women working today . I suggested to shut it down to clean it . Excuses after excuses . No spray bottles anywhere . I bought my own just in case like this. Lazy workers on cell phones smh

Today, same kid sitting on the counter doing nothing while garbage cans overflowing and bathrooms dirty!! Also, what is the youngest age of kids allowed in the gym? You are allowing a man bring his very young daughter (not a teen) hang around with him while he works out. She is now on machines that she is too small to be operating while her dad walks away!Again. No manager. Place not cleaned. Staff (some) don’t bother greeting members and play on phones. Place is dirty and the A/c is not working properly.Your younger male employee is literally sitting with legs crisscrossed on the counter and is laughing at members! I watched him laugh about someone who walked in and make comments. He has been problematic with these behaviors since he was hired.It’s about time to cancel and find a gym that meets its contractual obligations. And before your “team” spews unhelpful comments, maybe consider doing something about this location!

Always positive from the minute I arrive to the friendly staff, and the huge amount of equipment they have. Also, I use the aqua massager as much as possible - what a relief for my low back pain!

I love this gym and I use to go all the time, since hurricane ian though I am pretty upset that you do not stay open 24/5 at all anymore. That’s why I signed up with this location, so I can go when I would like to. I hope to see that this location will start staying open overnight again. I can only go to other locations that stay open 24/5 10 times before I’m charged a fee for going somewhere other than this location, since I signed up here. This location is right by my house. I would really like for it to stay open all night again, if it doesn’t I may end up canceling my membership.

Excellent equipment, clean environment, friendly staff, flexible hours, great pricing, competent management, wide variety of equipment.
