Urbana IL location is better than the old Champaign one. The place, equipment and employees are all better. I'd not recommend the Champaign one, even moving to a new place because the employees are not good. The Urbana employees actually clean, pay attention to the people in the club and don't live on their phones.

Friendly and helpful staffs and fair price. They keep everything clean and neat. I’ll recommend this gym to those who’s in need.

Great gym. Clean and nicely set up. Lacks the giant windows of the old Champaign facility, but the ample amount of hot water and absolutely fabulous showers make up for all that.

Been coming to this Planet Fitness (PF) location as of lately due to the PF in Champaign temporarily closing. Overall, it’s a solid gym; solid atmosphere.A con about this gym is that it appears to be a little crowded (it maybe due to the temporary switch from the Champaign PF to here). In the free weights section, there wasn’t to much room to get loose. I had just a little space around me to lift the dumbbells.Another con (somewhat) is the parking lot. I have visited this location three times now and two of the three times I had people approach my vehicle: One person asking for money and another person just rattling about something and I just pulled off. I come later in the evenings; so I suggest if you come later, just to be aware of your surroundings.Minus the two cons I mentioned, I don’t mind coming here to workout at all; its cool. People are friendly. Since I’ve been coming to this location, the equipment I wanted to use has always been available (despite it being somewhat crowded).So all in all I would recommend. Just be aware in the parking lot if you come later in the evenings.

Nice, tight, well-managed & clean. 👍👍🏽👍🏿 On the smaller side of usual Planet Fitness layouts, nevertheless the space is used quite well and easy movement about is not hindered. More than enough machines, especially cardio equipment, and all in fine working order. Guests do their best to keep it organized and clean, and the norm is “to wipe-down” after each use. My only personal issue? Typical layout has the men’s locker room in the corner. Not required, of course, and yet… “Oops! Sorry ma’am! My apologies!” {Yikes! 😬}Enjoy the workout y’all! 🏋🏻‍♂️

The facility is very clean. Staff is very friendly, always smiling, extremely helpful and patient. The Manager, Amanda is extremely nice, very professional, will answer all questions. There is tons of equipment to choose from to workout. I love the tanning beds and Hydro chairs, super relaxing. I would recommend Planet Fitness to anyone!

I usually have a great experience at this location but today Amanda was too busy talking to a man who seemed like a boyfriend or potential love interest/customer to give me prompt courteous service then when she did come over with an attitude she conveniently put me in the wrong bed by "accident". I mean if it actually was an accident no big deal at all but that did not seem to be the case which made the entire scenario incredibly annoying 🙄.
