Been coming here on and off since 2016. I Still enjoy it here. I like their free weights area and cardio machines.

I joined Xsport fitness on Friday June 30th, 2023 canceled my membership by middle of July 2023. I was immediately excited about the opportunity to join a new gym after just moving to Chicago. However, I was quickly disappointed after just a few visits that this is the absolute WORST GYM I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. This place obviously hasn't been cleaned since it has been opened. The machines have a film of grime over all of them. There is trash covering the floor. The entire gym smells like sweat, body odor, and mold. Almost all of the stair machines are broken without a sign on them indicating they don't work so I almost fell off each one every time I tried a new machine. The ellipticals are the same way - pieces of the machine look like they have been ripped off the top and are completely dysfunctional. I tried to express my concerns within my first few weeks of joining and the team couldn't care less, I have never seen anything like it. I literally canceled my membership within 3 weeks because it was unbearable. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE. Doesn't matter that it's the cheapest, it's the worst.

This is the worst gym I've ever been a member of. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about it. The machines are all old and busted, they've never cleaned anything in the entire building, the employees do nothing, and then they had the audacity to jack up the price.

This gym is whack A to Z. I came in to try them out and let’s just say I dodged a bullet not automatically getting a membership. They will come up with every excuse to not let you workout on their trial pass. Upon touring the facility, all of the machines are crammed together and smells absolutely terrible. In addition, their machines were filled with filth and grime. No thank you. I’d rather spend that extra money and go to FFC up the street. I guess it’s true, you get what you pay for.

Pls don't even bother coming in this location. Rude staff specially the Receptionist doesn’t know anything you ask her and she looks like she was force to just stand there, very filthy and unsanitary. Worst Xsports in Chicagoland area.

Will be looking to cancel my membership ASAP. Was going to keep giving the gym the benefit of the doubt but it seems as though they can’t get it together. Most gym equipment is not working properly, can’t find certain free weights, sauna ceiling falling apart, trash everywhere in there, smelly. Don’t understand why they even charge a annual “Cleaning FEE” if they don’t even do the job the right way. GET IT TOGETHER XSPORT. And no, i don’t want a reply back saying “please call for further assistance, JUST GET IT TOGETHER. Do your job!Updated 8 month review:The whole gym facility is STILL trash, some cardio machines have been down for quite a while now, sauna is always down, never consistent, same goes for the steam room. HOMELESS people in the facility. Either sleeping in the hallways or bathrooms. The fact that is in the downtown/loop area, I would expect alot more cleanliness and professionalism from this gym. Every work in that facility needs to replaced, needs new manager who is on it.

By far the worst xport in the Chicagoland area. Extremely filthy and unsanitary, inattentive staff that do an awful job running and managing facilities, something is always broken or not working at this location. It’s overcrowded and no one puts their weights back and a ton of men and women inappropriately dressed, this is a gym not a nudist colony. This location is a disgrace. I would give it two stars because of the convenience of the location and some staff are friendly… they just show no pride in their work or their gym. As a business owner myself, the main problem with this gym is management. It all starts from the top and there are other Xport locations that are managed FAR better than this gym… this location does NOT represent the XPORT brand well.

Came here because I just moved to the area and wanted to explore gyms nearby, I usually go to equinox but wanted to check out something closer to my house. After waiting for a good 5-10 min for a sales associate he said I can’t get it without proof of living in Chicago. So I wasn’t able to try it out , let’s just say this wasn’t a good first time experience and doubt I’d come back. If I do I’d be happy to update my experience at this location.

Very noisy. Moving the lifting equipment around might help. Not a fan of this place.
