Planet Fitness

It has a smell to it, not a gym smell. I've been to other PF locations and they have a very similar smell. But here. Also I haven't noticed staff cleaning. While other locations are clearly cleaning.

I will give this place two stars for just being open 24 hours ,and the location is close to me. Who ever owns this place really needs to come and inspect more often. Every time I come the machines are dirty. The women's bathroom needs remodeling..That sink is disgusting!!

This location is a disgrace to customer service. The staff is VERY unprofessional, incompetent which is why I'm guessing they were unable to find work anywhere else. After speaking with Evelyn who was on duty on 6/1/2017 along with Melvin & Osvaldo their manager left work at 4:35 and was suppose to be on duty until 5:00pm. Also while speaking with Evelyn about how me and my husband was misinformed by one of their staff members on how their she showed no remorse or care of how their customer was treated while Melvin continued to make smirking remarks under his breath. Not only are they rude but don't deserve any customers.

Lost my water bottle at this location. Within 15 minutes of setting my water bottle down in the men's locker room, someone took it. What's worse was that both people on staff were in the locker room talking and said they didn't see anyone take it, then proceed to tell me to go look around for it and then just ignore me entirely. Bad staff, and a really dirty location. Any other Planet Fitness is better than here.

Had a hard time feeling comfortable working out at this gym. Trash every where, the weights and cable accessories are all over the place, bathrooms look like they're not cleaned. They seem to not care about anything. Only reason I gave it two stars, it was empty, which means no waiting for weights. Sticking to the PF at Little Village, clean and comfortable place to workout at, and employees actually care.

So I can over from little village planet fitness due to a power failure. Wow this gym needs some loving! I got a metal splinter almost lodged into my shoulder from cable weights. All the free weights are all scattered and staff has been at desk just talking a hang by out eating Popeyes chicken. Saw some poor lady licking her lips as she checked in. Management or corporate needs to pay a visit.

I like this gym... my only problem is if I want to go in the afternoon at any day I can't because there is ALOT of people that they don't go to exercise or work out... they go to socialize... I want to use a machine and I can't because the person using it is on the phone or talk to his buddy in the side... .. personal at Ok. they only have to reinforce the rules... and don't let ppl using the phone during work out or in heavy hour...

I only recommend Planet Fitness if you are just starting out or on a tight budget. The good thing about this gym is the dumb policies are not really enforced here, as long as you are not being annoying. So if you are a serious bodybuilder, I suggest to look at somewhere else.If you are not sure what policies I am talking about, just google or youtube it, it is pretty fasting the rules they made up and calling themselves "not a real gym."I had a "month-to-month contract" which is $10 a month, which is not bad but I strongly suggest against that and any contracts that they provide. It will be a big pain to get out of it, if you decide to leave for what ever reason. I know it is tempting with that price, but it is a TRAP! Just like any other gym contract, they are all (at lest the ones I know) are SCAMS and most of all it is ANTI-CONSUMER.The good thing is that after the contract was over, I was able to get out just by telling the people at the front desk that I want to stop with no problem.

Atrocious billing system. They still bill you even after your membership is over and they make you jump through so many burning hoops before they could ever honor your request to stop billing on your account. XSport is a bit more expensive but at least their billing reps aren't as incompetent as Planet Fitness' reps.

This gym is a disgrace. I bought a discounted 3 month trial black card membership at Sam's Club and when I tried to use it they forced me to sign a contract for 12 months and refused to give me the card I had already paid for untill I gave them my checking account number. They refused to accept either debit or credit and went as far as crossing out the area where those were an option and only left the checking account area available. They gave me a business card with a reminder to bring my checking info next time I came In and a handwritten number on the other side to serve as a temporary card.The next time I came back (today)they refused to take my info from a checkbook stub with my checking and routing number and asked for something with my name on it. They were expecting me to bring a check or something. At this point I'm furious because I would have to buy a checkbook for $40 that I will never use to pay for something that has already been paid. I asked for a refund and the lady at the desk said that she couldn't because the manager wasn't there.Credit and debit cards have protections against unwanted charges and checking accounts don't. Maybe that's why you have to use a checking account at Planet Fitness.
