Ive been a member for 3 years now. The trainers are great ,helpful and interested in your questions,Cheryl is awesome !!!Ive noticed their equipment needs to be maintained better loads of squeaks and annoying noises. It seems there are to many members for the amount of treadmills bikes and eliptical machines, very crowded nowdays they should upgrade replace and add a few new seated bikes for the older set. Move the steppers and row machines to the weight room .Why have dues increased when these issues exist ???Overall its still better than the Golds or 24 hour places. Im sure they will figure it out this season.

The staff is completely rude! I was talking to one member at the desk. Another walked up. Interrupted me! And in the end I wasn't helped at all! It's not clean! It smells horrible! And WAY to many people! The child watch area smells like dirty diapers! And I didn't feel comfortable with my child being in there at all! I would give 1/2 a star or no star at all if I could!! Don't waste your time like I did

I'm a racquetball player, so that's the extent of my familiarity with the facilities, but they seem nice. Until their courts were closed due to lack of use (and probably the wavy, water-damaged floor), I primarily frequented the Garden Ranch YMCA. I have to say I'm more pleased with the Briargate courts' quality. However, in the dozen or so times I've called the Briargate Y to book a court, I think I've only gotten through about 3 times? A friend of mine had a similar experience, where he called several times, finally got through, and then got put on hold for about 6 minutes before he hung up. This was certainly never a problem at the Garden Ranch YMCA, who always promptly answered their front-desk phones. Please, please, Briargate. Be better at answering your front desk phone.(or at the very least, add an online court reservation)Thanks

I'm surprised by the negative comments that I've read here- I'm wondering if these people meant to review a different YMCA location in the Springs. I've visited others I didn't like as well. At Briargate we've had nothing but positive experiences in the three years that we've been members. We have a family membership with 3 children now. It is always clean, the staff are amazing, and we love the child watch. The childcare workers do an incredible job. This is a great place for families.

Love this Briargate Y location! Staff is friendly and helpful! Love that I can bring my kids here and myself and we all get use out of it. Facility is just as clean and well maintained as the Tri Lakes location but this is just few mins from wolf ranch so almost right next door for us. I really don't understand the negative comments on here ? I've had only a positive experience and recommend this location to anyone ! And for rates for families it's way less then a lifetime monthly dues!

As a visitor to this YMCA, I found the staff to be very friendly and kind and the entire facility to be extremely well equipped with good physical fitness equipment. I also found the staff to be very well-trained, professional, and efficient. I would recommend this YMCA highly to families and to all ages, including the retired community.

Don't ever make plans during the summer to use the gym, they overload the Child Watch (aka daycare) from Monday through Friday all day. It is about additional income from Child Watch over regular members.

We recently moved to the area, and were interested in possible membership in the Y. We took two grandsons to Y football on the first day of practice and listened to a Y staff person talk to parents about the values behind the program. It sounded good. However, one of our grandsons got a bully for a coach who was unkind to the small boys, rude to parents, and to the refs at games. He was a very poor influence and not at all representative of "Y values". Multiple complaints to various Y directors made no difference at all. Parents were told he would apologize but he did not. We found ourselves going to games in case our grandson needed protection. Clearly the Y staff would not do that. We were very disappointed in this program, and will look elsewhere for events for family.

Very nice gym. The pool has a cool slide and can accommodate a lot of people. There is a good selection of workout equipment, weights, and a raised indoor running track. Free coffee.

Tonight, Tuesday August 7 I had my locker broken into around 6 pm. Reported it to, I guess a manager, who wrote some stuff down. Otherwise nothing. Money is gone, too bad.Do not go to this Y. Management has let it become a hangout for gangster kids, obvious by the criminal activity happening right there in the facility. What will be next? I will just say I am glad I do not have young children going there as supervision is poor at best.I am very disappointed.
