Planet Fitness

No issues with this gym. I loved it when I went there back in 2017 and early 2018. BUT f the company for not allowing me to cancel after I moved out of the country. I visited one time in September 2018 and tried to cancel but they said they couldn’t because the supervisor wasn’t there. After that attempt I’ve mailed the forms, gone into other clubs on visits back to the USA and called in multiple times and have never been contacted back by the gym after the 800# said they’d contact them and have them email me. Mail doesn’t work well where I am and I am ignored when I tell them I already mailed the f-ing form. For example, it took me freaking nine months to get the first stimulus check. I want a refund.

Mostly a clean establishment. However, I’ve noticed that at least one private outside trainer has been regularly using the gym to give sessions to clients. He is not affiliated with planet fitness. I inquired at the front desk, and was told the management was aware of him and were okay with it. Does this mean I can let my friends know (who are trainers) that planet fitness can be used for their sessions ??

Horrible. I had to cancel my membership due to having surgery. I went in today a day after they took payment for the upcoming month and canceled. Asked if they would refund the months payment as I won't be able to use the gym and they said they wasnt able to. So basically they took a $25 payment and kept it even though I'm no longer using their gym and refused to give it back. I will never again use planet fitness, nothing but a bunch of crooks with inflated prices

I got the black card membership bc I thought it was a good value for the perks, and this location seems to be run well, staff is friendly even when not always knowledgeable. Was super disappointed that I signed up for the package to be able to bring a guest, and it wasn't until after I did so they made it clear that I couldn't bring my own trainer in. I pointed that out as I was completing sign up, and was told by staff it was never enforced, but it has been. Wouldn't be a big deal if they'd let me switch packages or at least honored the hours they had when I signed up, but since Covid, no one has been available to help me alter or end my account.

They have been billing me for the last year. Whether they are closed or not. I get messages saying the "proactively" stopped billing, but I still get billed. Super shady. Filled out the contact form online, and they said I had to directly get in touch with the branch... Ok, so how do we do that if they are closed.They make it difficult to cancel due to a shady business model, but continuing to charge during this time is a whole other level.Who knows, maybe this will get a response and we will all see how it is handled together.Time will tell... Otherwise I will be sending them an invoice. If anyone else wants to send them an invoice I can make a template addressed to them, and will be happy to send it to you.

Great Planet Fitness location! I was a longtime YMCA member before I moved to Columbia so decided to give PF a try since there wasn't a Y in town. I have absolutely loved being a member here. They do a great job of cleaning all of the equipment and there's plenty of it to go around. I've never had a time I've been in there where it felt overwhelmingly crowded because of the good size of the facility. Staff is also very friendly. Plus, the membership prices are amazing and you get so much for the cost. Highly recommend making this your home PF!

Planet Fitness on Broadway in Columbia MO has plenty of equipment that supports a variety of workouts and a pretty large number of gym-goers at the same time. Machines, and the rest of the facilities, are always clean and promptly attended to when maintenance is needed. The staff is also very pleasant when I arrive and leave. I definitely recommend this location!

I like that Planet Fitness is open 24/7 and is staffed. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the location because it is a 5-minute walk from my place. I like the variety of exercise equipment, cardio machines, and free weights. It would be great if Planet Fitness provide plyometric boxes too! Because there are so many exercise videos out there now that we can just pull up on our phones, it would nice to have a place in the gym dedicated for us to do that.

Very friendly staff. Very clean facility, even with half the machines closed for social distancing, there was plenty of workout equipment to use! The layout is incredibly efficient. Everything feels accessable from anywhere.highly recommend!

Its all good. Sometimes the paper rolls are empty but I can usually find another one, but besides that I like my PF Gym. Staff are courteous and nice and the time I go 530 am is there is not a crowd so it works out good. And it is only a few minutes away.
