Smelly and filthy. Dust, rust, and grime in every corner. Dumbells and equipment in no order at all. Pool is nasty. Even the employees look miserable.

I only come here from a special equipment that Walnut Creek does not have. This gym has a lot of broken equipment, there is no AC, only fans. The locker room is in need of a major remodel.

So this happened an hour ago at 24Hr Fitness Concord CAMy membership expired today. I tried to talked to someone about renewing my membership. I’m very much aware that it will expire today, the 27th of January. I talked to someone last month about it and she gave me options, best deal was $___ for a year (region). I offered to pay it in advance but she told me just come back on my last day. I did, today. Unfortunately, this guy who happened to be the manager said “Whatever she told you, it’s not valid because I AM the General Manager!” Whoah! I should have left right away when he told me that, especially with his tone. I wanted to renew my membership for another year because I’ve been loyal since 2009. I even mentioned to him again that I offered last month to pay the whole year but she told me to come back today. He didn’t even want me to finish what I was saying.There are many new gyms around now. With this general manager’s attitude, you’ll lose members. I’m happy that it was my last day.
