Jaelyn and Gilbert are the best best gym in corpus

They finally added more squat racks. Restroom is usually clean in the mornings. Evenings it can be hit and miss. However the gym is usually over crowded, a few broken machines have been down for a couple months now. Depends when you come in, most time the crowd isn't too bad. However some times it's just a bunch of teens recording everything they do in the gym on go pros, motion stabilizing cameras, or iPhones on tripods. They have dumb bells of all weights but a lot of them seem to be missing in the lighter weights. It's an ok gym for the price of 10 dollars. A little better than planet fitness as freedom fitness has more variety of equipment.

Hidden fees and charges. I thought month to month membership is the face value of what I need to pay, I just found out there's an annual fee aside from the monthly fees. Also had issues with my monthly fees - I changed my membership from "The Family" to "the" back in July which would have changed my payment from $54 to $30+, but I still had to pay $54 in August and September despite multiple efforts of me talking to at least 3 staff members that the app still shows the $54 (they kept saying the system knows I updated my plan and should just be billed the $30 even of the app says otherwise). Today, I went in again to bring it up to their attention, and now finally a staff that knows how to properly update it. She waived next month's fee because they are unable to issue a refund, and that's when I found out about the annual membership fee of $42 that I still have to pay in October which is the first time I heard of it. I don't think its even mentioned on the website.Facilities wise, the gym is impressively clean and has a good variety of equipment. People- they are very nice, it really is just a pain that some of them were unable to help me properly before. Childcare is the most amazing thing. The staff are very nice and they take great care of the kids. If not for that, I would have cancelled my membership after the issues with payment.

What I like best is the variety of the machines, they're nearby, and open overnight as I work late shifts. I have my bench and free weights at home, but that's not the same as the motivation you get from being around others here at Freedom Fitness. When a machine is down they get it fixed fairly quickly, and the place is always kept clean. Keep up the good work Freedom Fitness, I look forward to each visit and recommend you to all my friends!

Plenty of equipment but you gotta come early. No matter where you go people are weird.

24 hour business but think it’s ok to paint indoors when it’s busy with no ventilation. Reason was it’s convenient for them.

They have added so much equipment into such a confined place it’s a safety hazard. The bathrooms are falling apart, the spin and Zumba classes are obnoxiously loud and no decent sound proofing so if you are wanting to vibe out in your workout the music is so loud you need to blast your music at a ridiculously high volume just to block it out. The punching bag is down more often then it is up and very annoying.

The staff and trainers at this gym are always friendly and helpful. I absolutely love working with the team of trainers. They are extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and provide great motivation! The gym is also always well maintained and clean.
