I have been a customer of planet fitness for over a year now and I’ve never been told once in my life that my guest cannot sit in the lobby!!!!!! My 72 year old grandmother was told she was not allowed to sit in the lobby because she was “loitering” if that’s the case I’ll take my business somewhere else.-Rylee Lieke

Nice chill place to work out but I prefer a more intense atmosphere. If you are into the no judge or being judged thing this is the place for you. If you work out often and thrive in an intensive environment you should prob find somewhere else.

Don't join.... I joined for one month and then I get charged three times and they won't fix the issues. I had to call my bank and block all services while cancelling my membership. Over two weeks has passed since I got hit with a second charge and today a third charge. I told them when I joined I will only be in town for three months and I am not paying the annual fee. They said It was ok they would work with it. I was forced to go into planet fitness and they wouldn't let me cancel membership without signing a form accepting the annual fee plus another month or service when fee is pending on my bank account. Stop payment issued against planet fitness.

Hot water showers are a 50/50 gamble.Okay! 1 month later. Now it's May...I gambled and lost last night. No hot water!!!!!Should we start a "go fund me?"Taking a star away.Okay, mid-May and I've had hot water three times in a row. Keep it up! You get a 2-star upgrade.

This was my Central Command on my latest trip to Corpus Christi. Their hydro massage beds were fantastic and their equipment was plentiful for the crowds that I saw. Beach-to-Bay did make parking slightly more interesting.

I've only been a member for a couple of weeks now. I will say that the equipment seems easy to operate and there's never a weight to get on the treadmills. I've seen other reviews that complained about the water in the shower is not being hot however that's not an issue for me since I just got home and shower ready way. I don't have any children so it doesn't bother me that they don't have a nursery. I love love love the hydrophonic massage water beds. For anyone with arthritis or a lot of muscle aches and pains it's worth the extra money.

HEADS UP TO FIRST TIME MEMBERS: They have an annual fee(as do most gyms) where you pay $39 for the month(regardless of which membership you choose), and it is always the month after you sign up that it is charged. So lets say you sign up today June 4th, they'd charge you the $39 dollars on August 1st. It's always the first of the next month, no matter what day you sign up the previous month. But overall it is a great gym and unlike Freedom Fitness, it is 24/7. Locker rooms are nice and kept clean as so are the restrooms and shower area

I used to be a fan.. but a recent experience changed my thinking. I was doing my workouts and a staff member tells me and my boyfriend that he's doing a class right now, implying that we drop everything that we're doing because we're interrupting. There is nowhere on the contract that states that a class can overwhelm my workout space. I pay for the blackcard so I expect the bells and whistles, I dont appreciate being thrown off of my rhythm because of a class.
