First, I don't see any staff doing any cleaning at this gym during the day.Second, beware if you park your car under the trees alongside this gym. Our car was broken into last month. The passenger-side window was cut open with a glass cutter. We went to 24hr Fitness in Addison for 10+ yrs, but had to start going to this one after the Addison location closed in 2020. A few years ago, my wife’s physical therapist warned her not to walk by herself to her car after dusk at the Royal location because there had been incidents. We had seen a security car patrolling in the parking lot, but not lately.

Came here to work out on a 3 day pass, I was excited to find a new gym that had a basketball court and a full gym I had previously played at another location that was very welcoming and friendly so I expected the same out of this location but once I got there I was harassed about my three day pass and I was there to workout not play basketball I didn’t even mention I wanted to play and the person working there kept saying they couldn’t let me play basketball when I was purely there to workout. I did not feel welcome and that interaction really killed my motivation so I’ll take my business elsewhere

I should’ve taken a tour before signing up for a membership here. This place is disgusting.

I never knew how luxurious my home gym was until I came to this location. I made the mistake of coming here to try it out on the way back from Dallas instead of my usual home 24HF in Plano… 🥴- outdated crusty equipment.-no assisted pull-up machine..?- the layout is so strange and it despite the windows it feels dark and gloomy- crowded… on a Friday at noon?!? (Our location is routinely empty at this time)- Gym is filled with older gentleman that think curling 6 sets of biceps ON THE BENCH BRESS is ok. I kid you not 3 of them are doing biceps on the bench presses at the same time. And there are so many other regular benches open. Like come on dude I just wanna bench. I asked nicely after waiting for a bit but I was rudely turned away.Ended up leaving to finish my workout at my home gym down the highway. Will NEVER be returning to this one again.

One in four weight and cardio machines is in a state of disrepair, out of service, or simply dangerous to use. This place has virtually turned their back on taking care of things.

I got up early to come to this new gym before work only to learn they will NOT have showers until the September 30 for the mens restroom.Do not join this gym, that is a basic necessity

The weight room floor is big and spacious. The back of the house amenities like the steam room, sauna, pool, spa, bathrooms and showers are all nasty. They don't clean - period.

The new group training classes here are amazing! You should definitely give it a try if you're looking for a new challenge in your fitness routine. Some of the trainers here, Alex and Gabby are phenomenal! They'll care of you and push you to your fitness goals.🙌💪

Came in to try out the gym and test out the sauna. Team member was trying to push me to sign up without checking out the gym first. I told him my main reason for trying to find a membership was for a good sauna in a gym as I already have a nice gym in my apartment complex (it’s just missing a sauna). The sauna at this location was under construction and he was trying to push me to try about the Richardson location which he kept saying is 5 mins away (it’s actually 5 miles away). He said because I tried out the gym 4-5 years ago at a different location the system would probably flag me and say I couldn’t do the free trial. I said let’s try and put it in the system I am not going to Richardson today and would like to still test out the gym here today.... it worked. Will probably sign up but at a different location.

At my last visit, I was informed by an employee that someone who was confirmed positive for MonkeyPox was working out a few days ago at this gym. He then adds that the gym has not been cleaned in 2-4 days because his coworkers have been calling out. After all that, I turned around and left. I have not visited this gym in weeks. It's unfortunate because this used to be my favorite location.
