Equinox Highland Park in Dallas promises premium services but often falls short. With a spacious layout and clean facilities, it offers top-tier amenities like a saltwater pool and eucalyptus towels that many members love. However, frequent reports of outdated equipment, unreliable air conditioning, and poor management tarnish the allure. The high membership cost also doesn't justify the experience for many, leading to frustrations among its clientele.

If you can afford it, it’s well worth it.

Small and over crowded space, no new equipment added to gym in +5 years

I love this gym! It has so many wonderful amenities and the atmosphere is fantastic. Staff is kind and helpful!

The product has some positive highlights but the atmosphere is not ideal for beginners. I took a Cycling class for the first time and I felt completely lost. I mentioned to the receptionist but his attitude was really bad. I felt I was bothering him with my 2 questions. The class instructor never acknowledged any first timers. I didn’t have the right shoes - zero info about it - and instructions were unclear. Equipments seems dated. To change the speed on the treadmill I had to push buttons pretty hard. Overall it’s a slightly good looking club but the culture is not welcoming or helpful.

I agree with all of the reviews below identifying the problems with equipment, cleanliness, and overcrowding. When I inquired about this with management, they essentially said that this location is busy and the current state of the gym is just how it is going to be for now. Very frustrating but I was willing to overlook. What ruined the equinox experience for me was the personal training sessions. Despite being advertised as full hour long sessions, I was regularly getting 40-45 minute training sessions. I thought this 15-20 minute reduction was normal, but it turns out that I was just taken advantage of and losing that training time. After working with the same trainer twice-a-week for nearly 10 months, I paid for time equivalent to 12-15 sessions that I never received. Again, very little help from management other than "have you considered changing to our Preston Hollow location?" Putting my experience out there so nobody else wastes the same amount of time/money that I did.Overall, the inflated pricing is just not worth it unless you are one of the many finance bros coming into the gym to solicit business while pretending to workout. I'd recommend saving money and signing with the nearby LA Fitness Signature for a nearly identical experience.

Loved it! Modern and wonderful equipment

This fitness center is more than a gym,it's like a resort for the fitness

Quality and upkeep of the facility has precipitously declined - especially since reopening after COVID. Customer service is lacking and responses to requests and inquiries takes weeks - if answered at all. After the latest round of price increases - in light of subpar facilities, deteriorating equipment and amenities along with apathetic staff and an absence of customer service - there are many other health clubs that will offer a better experience for the money.

The gym is great; however, the spa just opened and I made an appointment for a facial to try it out. I ended up missing my appointment because I got no reminder or notification about it. Every other luxury spa I’ve been to has either called me a day or two before or sent a text reminder. The manager and staff are completely unprofessional and not accommodating. I do not recommend. Go to Sturm, the Joule, or the Ritz.
