Planet Fitness

I called to several planet fitness gyms. I learned that each planet fitness is individually owned so the rules are different for each one. I finally settled on the Ormond Beach planet fitness because they said I can pay with my debit card without extra information if I pay for 18 months. I thought that was a pretty good deal so I went ahead and did it. This planet fitness is small but the machines are well-maintained everyone's respectful employees has great customer service skills. The locker room and the showers are on the second floor. If you're afraid of heights looking down the staircase can be a little intimidating like it is for me. The shower some little small but clean everything's clean and maintained well quitman looks fairly new. So far going here at this gym is pretty good. I will continue going for the next 18 months since I paid for all 18 months.

!!!!MOTORCYCLE RIDERS NOT WELCOMED!!!The gym is fine and the employees are great for the most part. ONE employee In particular has been giving me problems about my motorcycle helmet. I would put it in a locker however, it does not fit and my bike is a street bike so I would have to chain it to the frame. Not a great option as the Florida heat really heats up the helmet and can ruin the electronics on the helmet, not to mention the frequent showers, and chance of theft. Not sure why this kid is flexing so hard but it's silly. I reached out to corporate and they said personals from gym goers can not be stored because of liability however, "helmets are often accepted at most locations but this can change at their whim," this according to corporate. I have had zero issues since I started riding and that's been 7 months. Just the anxiety of having to deal with this issue and plan around this employees schedule is near unbearable. Florida has more riders than anyother state. 10 dollars a month is hard to beat but so is a gym that is welcoming.

Great place to work out. Plenty of machines, great atmosphere. The staff keeps the place impeccably clean/spotless. Great folks running the desk. Very helpful. This is the place to come to workout.

Its a clean gym with some nice equipment. Its not super busy but the people that go there seem nice. The owner seems very involved and there are managers that are there most of the time.

Terrible customer service, they’re quick to pass the buck, I came back in April with Alex and have the paperwork to proved it. They stop charge me and now all of sudden they charging me the funny thing it’s not even the amount I signed up for first of all. This terrible they do this all the time to ppl and except us to drop everything to go prove to them you cancelled like we have nothing else on our plate.or maybe for the issue me email. No instead they keep charging account. I will never use them again and I tell everyone else not too either ..a terrible terrible company not worth there 20 dollar plans.

The staff is always so kind and welcoming here, it's the best location!

This location has a few more different equipment. I like how wide the spaces are too.
