Everyone on the staff is super helpful. I was just visiting Denver and Joe took a lot of his time to show me around. I highly recommend this gym.

I was a member her for a few months and I hurt my back while working out. I let them know at the front desk and they said they would put my account on hold until I was ready to return. A few months later I received calls from a collections company stating I owe over $400. This is a month to month membership that was supposed to be on hold. I called the gym several times and even spoke to their finance department but they were unwilling to work with me.I work for a large company at union station and I am letting everyone know this story so they don’t join this gym! I’m also going to post this story on bulletin boards throughout the union station area. When you have clear records that a customer has not been in for several months why would you want to take their money still? This is the absolute worst customer experience I’ve ever had.The employees at the gym were very friendly and facilities were adequate and clean. I’m really disappointed that you are willing to lose a customer that would be there for years to come over your own mistake!

I have been a member at this gym for 2 years. The facility is nice (I don't care about weight training though). I do think it's ridiculous that you have to pay for parking when you are already paying high membership fees.I am writing this review specifically after a horrendous experience I had with the front desk staff today. Apparently the gym has gone under new management; big mistake. I brought a friend to try out the Zumba class (which is awesome, by the way, and really the only reason I stay a member here). In the past I had been allowed to bring a friend for a free trial (it's a 45 minute class for goodness sake). To me this is a great way to advertise the gym and obtain potential new memberships. Today, however, even with the support of the teacher of the class, they required us to pay $20 for a guest pass. $20 for a 45 minute class! I later found out that people can do a free day trial if they are "just checking out the gym." I was livid (still am really). I really feel like this new manager could have reviewed different options or at least not been so rude to me, my friend, and one of his employees. And just to be clear, I am not taking guest in every week; this was the second time doing this in 2 years.I would not recommend joining this gym if this is how the new management is going to treat their members.

Yes, it's not a huge gym, but it is always spotless. The locker rooms (steam and sauna) are stocked and clean, and the weight-room equipment is working and always organized / well maintained. Ive never had a problem getting in a good workout because it's too busy. Staff is always friendly as well. Not much more you can ask for.

Joined the club last year because it's super-convenient based on my work location. It can be pretty crowded at times, and the squat platforms are seldom available, but the gym has already committed to adding another platform in the next few months. There are a few things missing (seated calves, jumpropes), but overall a very nice gym. The yoga classes are great, and I've enjoyed the other classes I've attended but the times are not a great fit for me personally. A few of the PTs are annoying and condescending, but most are nice. Lashaw and Steve are standouts, as I've been very impressed with their knowledge and friendly demeanor. My only real complaint as a 40-something old guy is that the music selection is horrendous (think tween girl sleepover in the gym combined with rave/club in the locker room), and to make it worse, plays at least two clicks louder than necessary. My ears ring after workouts because I have to turn my music up so loud to drown out the awfulness. A minor complaint for a great club in a perfect location.Update: Changing review from 4 stars to 5. Not one to believe in coincidences, the music in the Men's locker room magically changed to classic (read oldies) rock and the volume went down a few notches. Absolutely love that the gym actually listens to user suggestions, regardless of whether they should be listened to or not. Spent tens of years lamenting 24 hr fitness' lack of customer service and broken equipment, so CAC's reception to feedback couldn't be more appreciated. Well done!Update #2: Adding another squat/olympic rack in September based on customer feedback! Thanks for listening to your customers!

Very clean, but very over crowed in the evenings. (Make sure to add 30 mins extra to your workout just to get to the machines you want) They also made me pay for an extra month, even though I've moved out of state. Rude staff.

I joined Colorado Athletic Club almost a year ago. I love the cleanliness of the club and the great classes. I started taking the HRT classes which is a great workout in 45 minutes. I knew I needed something a little more to motivate myself- that is where I met trainer Patricia. I have been training with her since April and I couldn’t be happier! She has pushed me and motivated me when I needed it the most! She is an incredible trainer and extremely knowledgeable; I look forward to training with her every week. I would highly recommend Patricia as your next trainer to help challenge you, and reach your fitness goals!

Great club! New facilities, clean, and the best is that you can work out at your own pace. If you want a trainer or join a class, you can but you don't have to. I have been a member for 9 months and I work out when I want as I want without any complaints. Love this place and have made many friends from other members and staff.

If you like group classes and cardio machines, you might like it here.If you're more interested in lifting, then stay far away. The cardio area dwarfs the weight room, leaving you waiting for a squat rack while ten worthless treadmills lie vacant. There are hardly any mirrors, making you awkwardly stand closer to others as you ensure your form is on point. The cost. My God - you'll pay well over $100 per month, a total pillaging of your wallet, unreasonable despite the convenient location and amenities.Squads of trainers roam the place, and while most are friendly enough peeps, some are fairly douchey and their abundant presence is often annoying or distracting. If you lift, don't go here.

Initially didn’t love this gym when compared to larger CACs. However after a year and a half here, it’s now one of my favorite gyms and places to be. Most of the staff are super friendly, they’re constantly working to improve and bring in more equipment and classes, and it’s kept clean and well-maintained.
