Beautiful club with great atmosphere. Have never had an unpleasant experience with any staff members. Trainer Patricia in particular is AMAZING. Friendly, helpful, and so knowledgeable. I actually look forward to working out with her :) I can't recommend Patricia or the club enough

If you like group classes and cardio machines, you might like it here.If you're more interested in lifting, then stay far away. The cardio area dwarfs the weight room, leaving you waiting for a squat rack while ten worthless treadmills lie vacant. There are hardly any mirrors, making you awkwardly stand closer to others as you ensure your form is on point. The cost. My God - you'll pay well over $100 per month, a total pillaging of your wallet, unreasonable despite the convenient location and amenities.Squads of trainers roam the place, and while most are friendly enough peeps, some are fairly douchey and their abundant presence is often annoying or distracting. If you lift, don't go here.

Very clean, but very over crowed in the evenings. (Make sure to add 30 mins extra to your workout just to get to the machines you want) They also made me pay for an extra month, even though I've moved out of state. Rude staff.

This gym is beautiful....no doubt about it. The main reason that I joined this gym was because I had heard that the yoga was really good at all of the Colorado Athletic Clubs. The yoga at this location is at best, ok. The yoga teachers are very very friendly which is a big plus, but I found most of the classes to be lacking. They advertise their fire yoga as being in a 104 degree room, but when I went to their fire yoga classes on multiple occasions I barely broke a sweat.I have tried the Insanity class which I loved, as well as the Peaks class. Before I took my first Peaks class I was a little bit nervous because I did not know what to expect, but I was hoping that once I arrived to the class the teacher would explain everything to me. The instructor ended up being very rude and did not say hi to me or ask me if I had done the class before. I believe her name was Patricia. The class went well but for some reason I got a very unwelcoming vibe from her...And it's so weird because when I am working out at the gym and we pass each other she literally stares at me and give me dirty looks....I don't understand it! She has definitely left a bad taste In my mouth and I can't be the only person who has had a bad experience with her...she and the yoga classes are the main reasons I decided to cancel my membership.Other than that the facility is beautiful and clean, but for me not worth the price. I would rather work out in a friendly environment.

The facilities are modern and beautiful. Nice variety of classes - lots of yoga-themed classes (including hot yoga!) and cardio/weight training like Les Mills and cardio circuit training. Seems like they offer something for everyone.Locker rooms are clean. My only complaint is that the staff can give off a snotty vibe, mostly the desk folks - as I haven't had a bad experience with instructors in classes and haven't tried a trainer.

The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. The machines are all new and they have plenty of cardio equipment. They lack a number of weight machines but make up for it with other equipment. They have a reasonable juice protein bar that serves healthy snacks.Cost is hight. 80 to 100 a month per person on a discounted family plan.As this gym fills up, it's new. It'll be overwhelming to get to equipment and weights quickly.

Review of Union StationWhen I joined, Tyler, one of the sales reps told me that the club specialized in members like me who are always busy and on the go. He told me that I could come in at any given time and workout without a problem. LIE. BIG LIE.The club is a TRAINER based facility, which means that unless you’re paying a trainer, at $35.00 an hour, you’re not going to get a workout at all. Some of these trainers are AGGRESSIVE. They make it clear to the members that don’t want trainers that they are not wanted. As an example, Patricia, one of the female trainers the second day I joined told me that most of the equipment used had to be used with a trainer present. LIE. BIG LIE. She followed me around to make sure that I wasn’t using equipment that she didn’t want me to use. When I got on one of the machines, Patricia told me to hurry up because she needed it for 3 of her clients who were on the way. MANAGEMENT IS AWARE OF THIS BEHAVIOR AND CONDONES IT. OTHERWISE, WHY IS IT STILL GOING ON? It’s going on because the manager of the location promotes this behavior. NEW MANAGEMENT AND STAFF IS NEEDED.Most of the time I’m there, I’m waiting on the couch by the health bar drinking a protein shake waiting until the trainers see it fit to let me or the other members waiting, workout.I’m now paying over $150.00 a month to join a club that I can’t use. I’m paying an extra $35.00 for the PRIVILEGE of going to another club like Tabor or Monaco to enjoy my membership. I travel to these locations everyday even though I joined the Union Station location. It’s making me so furious that I had to say something about it.Tyler told me to avoid problems at Union Station by getting the all access privilege which meant $35.00. So, now I don’t have to wait for trainers to train and maybe let me workout if they feel like it. Now, I have to travel 30-40 minutes out of my way to get a workout. As I think about it, I’m more furious at all the LIES I’ve been told by these…employees of what seems to be a good club that is in the wrong management hands. Who manages Union Station? Why are trainers and employees allowed to blatantly BULLY those of us who do not want their services? Furthermore, when did lying to get an extra buck become normal as in Tyler’s case?CONS TO THE FACILTY: PROSBullies.IT’S DOWNTOWNLiars.Money thieves. Can’t work out without a trainer.Trainers are rude and aggressiveDid I already mention, Tyler the liar?

Pros:The facility is immaculate. Everywhere you look, there are windows with amazing views out. Good selection of equipment, and all the equipment is all in excellent condition. Also, they offer classes - lots of them. And to finish your workout, you can get a smoothie at a reasonable price. My girlfriend and I always enjoyed getting Josh. He was down to earth and just fun to chat with while we waited for him to make our smoothie.Neutral:The temperature of the gym is a little warm for my liking, but not by much, so not a big deal. If the class rooms they have aren't in use, you can use them, but you can't hook up your iPhone to the A/V system in the room to play music. Not a big deal - I understand the equipment is expensive, so you can always just bring a little portable speaker and get almost as good a result. Finally, the weights area is a little small. Not as much equipment as I'd like to see (although there is a good selection) and you sometimes find yourself waiting to use specific equipment you need, especially if you go during peak times.Cons:The best workout room (with TRX stations and a wider variety of weights) you aren't allowed to use, even if the room's empty, unless it's with a personal trainer you pay for. Membership's a bit expensive (keeps going up so I won't put the price here, but it started over $100/mo when they were doing their opening promotion). But the biggest issue is the vibe and atmosphere most of the staff give off. Don't get me wrong, some of the people there are quite friendly (like Josh), but many just take away our workout energy. My girlfriend was a member (I was her guest and only came a few times) and we noticed that the environment felt more and more draining each time we came. No single thing - just death by 1000 needles. Too much of the staff is aloof and yuppie. The last straw for us was an interaction we had with Brandon. The way he handled things was so draconian (it was less what he said and more the hostile, unfriendly approach he took) that we felt unwelcome to be there and after 10 minutes of working out, we realized we just wanted to get out of there, which is exactly what we did. I have been to dozens of gyms from Denver to Amsterdam and this is the only gym I will never go back to.Fortunately, I have a black card membership at Planet Fitness and there happened to be one just 4 miles away. From the moment we stepped inside the Planet Fitness and interacted with Sandro, we felt welcomed and enjoyed finishing our workout. They had more and better equipment, more space, and it was just a better atmosphere all around.

Love the location, atmosphere is great and the facilities are clean and top notch. You get what you pay for, especially when it's right next to an extremely booming area. I'm able to hit the gym early before I head on to work down the street, or get in during off peak times. This gym is perfect if you live away from the city, but work downtown and take the train into the city. Also perfect for someone who lives in the area and wants more than a few treadmills at their apartment gym. Towel service and a steam room and sauna. countless amenities to get ready the day (or night) should you forget something at home. Majority of group classes are included with the membership, the equipment is all brand new and state of the art. You can track your fitness goals using an app that goes hand in hand with the machines, it's amazing! At least give it a shot with the free trial they offer and make the most of it. It truly is an amazing gym if you utilize all the big and small amenities that are offered.
