I would give this place 0 stars if possible. I never write reviews, but this needs to be addressed... I came into the gym to cancel my membership before any billing transaction hit my credit card. I was assured I would not be charged for the month after asking multiple times, multiple ways (I'm a very thorough guy). Sure enough, I got charged for the month! I reached out to the Membership Director, who had a terrible attitude (not what you would expect from a Director). He was unsympathetic and made no effort to mediate. What happened to customer service??? I had been a member for over a year! Obviously the Membership Director needs a lesson or two about customer support.

Very nice YMCA. I came from out of state and they were very accommodating and kind. Matt and Bryan did an excellent job making me feel as if I was at my home YMCA. Thanks for taking care of a weary traveler guys!

There's no commitment required, but the monthly fees are not as low as I expected from a YMCA. The gym itself is a little disappointing, though they promise a remodel soon. Overall I wouldn't be a member of this gym if it weren't for the way the YMCA benefits the community.

The Y has been a part of my life sense the early sixties. I learned gymnastics wrestling weight lifting boxing and swimming at the Y.50 years later I'm proud to say that I'm a member of the YMCA. Man I've been rescued!!!

Super friendly staff, variety of classes, affordable membership, and there is always hot coffee for on the way out. Machines and workout spaces are clean and in good shape. The only downside is that it can be a bit crowded during peak hours, like any gym.

Great bang for your buck. Not for those who want all the fanciness that comes along with $100+ per month memberships, but if all you need is the basic equipment, clean facilities, cheap rates, and convenient downtown location then this is your place. Has a bball court, steam room, cardio and all types of weights/machines. No pool and they could definitely use another squat rack or two in the free weight room, but overall I like it. I've been a member for about 2 years now with no complaints. Staff has always been great!

Thought it would be a good facility being in the middle of downtown. However the track is a joke, there's no pool, good luck finding your way through the locker rooms(seriously it's a labarynth) and the basketball court is small. Additionally they charge $15 for a day pass. Compared to any other fitness facility this is one of the worst I've been too. They also don't share branch like most Y's

I want to thank all the personnel at the front desk who greeted me as a visitor on August 13, 2014. As a Y member in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, I thought it might be nice to get a workout while touring Denver. It wasn't only that you didn't charge me for using the facility; it was how all of you indulged me as we spoke about life in Denver and the South.I know your building is old, but all the equipment was in good shape, and there was a variety of equipment to use. I was surprised that despite my visit being in the earlier afternoon, there was a fairly good number of people exercising.Should I return to your city, I'd love to visit again.I will certainly relate to my fellow Y members here in Tuscaloosa just how nice of an experience I had during my visit with you.In appreciation,Bob (Robert Lipman)
