I moved to Denver 1 year ago. I tried several gyms and trainers, but neither the gyms nor trainers impressed me. Then I met Gregg at Urban Pump. He is, without any doubt, a world class trainer.Gregg's knowledge, professionalism, passion, and caring are unsurpassed. My goals were to continue rehabbing a problem knee, to reduce fat, and to gain strength and muscle. Gregg has very quickly allowed me to meet and surpass my goals. It's not easy to gain muscle at my age (mid 60s), but Gregg has made it happen. My energy level has never been betterI look forward to my twice weekly sessions with Gregg. He "pushes me to failure" with each set, and that's a good thing. I'm fortunate to have met Gregg. He's a game changer!

I've been training consistently with Gregg and Sharon for 8 months now. Everything they have taught me is different from anything prior I've done with other personal trainers. Not only are their workouts unique and effective yet their coaching, knowledge and motivation with accountability has been what has really done it for me. They truly have changed my life for the better: I've never been stronger, looked better nor felt any better than I do today! I've often told them they've ruined me from ever going back to a real gym because this is my new norm! Not to mention, I literally only workout for an hour a week total! I will tell you, the time spent is intense yet the endorphins after propel me through my day!

I've tried many different approaches to "fitness" over many years. Since working out with Gregg and now Sharon, for several years, I have to say I have found a way to fit in a serious workout, increase my strength amazingly, all in a format and time frame that works in my life. I enjoy them both, they are committed to the individual needs and goals of their clients and are a pleasure to work with. If it weren't for their calm and encouraging training, I would not have stayed committed. I highly recommend them both!

I am a "hard gainer" type and have been trying this on my own for 30 years but with little success. I was looking for someone that seemed to have a greater body of knowledge that a 3 week online certificate that so many of these places have - Gregg is the real deal. In 2 months I have begun seeing great results. Gregg is very personable and will push you as hard as you are willing - and maybe a little more. I highly recommend Urban Pump

I am very happy that I found Gregg and Urban Pump. In the six short weeks I have been working out with Gregg, I have witnessed an astounding physical transformation like I've never seen in the years I've been working out with other trainers. The 30-minute workout is very strenuous, but it's over so quickly, and now I wonder how I would ever endure another lengthy, ineffective workout session again.Gregg has also coached me on a much better way of eating - I will not call it a diet, because I do not believe in diets. But through Gregg, I have learned which foods are best to help fuel my body's needs, satisfy my hunger, and supplement my fitness journey. And the nutrition component is so remarkably simple that, again, I wonder why I didn't make these changes sooner.Gregg is a very laid-back guy who understands that we live in the real world, where it is extremely difficult to eat right and make it to training sessions. He just gets it, and never judges.If you are considering training with Gregg or Sharon, please go in and give it a try. Are you looking to become a personal trainer?I met and trained briefly with Gregg in the early '90s and by happy circumstance, became re-acquainted with him in 2008. Upon that meeting, I was so inspired and impressed by his knowledge and dedication to personal training, that I solicited him to coach me through the American Council on Exercise personal trainer certification. I studied (and passed) for the exam in conjunction with Gregg's certification program. As a result, I am happily and successfully employed as a personal trainer and as an added bonus, enjoy fantastic health and strength.

I bounced around about making the phone call to Greg for several months! With all that is out there about weight loss and fitness you start to become jaded about what will actually make a change in your life. I finally picked the phone up and made that call, and I am so happy. For the first time in my life (37years) I feel that I have found a way to stay healthy and fit. This was the best investment in me and my health that I have ever made. The results in 10 weeks are jaw dropping... So if you are like me and REALLY ready to put in the work and commitment, yet wavering, just pick up the phone. Its worth every penny!!!!Cheers!

Amazing results in just 10 weeks! At the age of 42, I walked in over weight, lack of energy perhaps depressed. Through Gregg’s nutritional advice and 2 workouts a week (yes, only 2) I was able to transform my body instantly! Sharon and Gregg are fabulous! Desperate to get in shape for an hut to hut hiking trip in the Swiss Alps with my husband and 3 adult children (who are VERY fit), I joined a neighbor for their "weight training" program in February 2014. I had never lifted weights but knew I "should". Well 3 and 1/2 years later, I'm still going! And love it! Who knew that getting fit could be sooo simple and "easy"! All my life I've been a lazy athlete, getting in shape by 'doing' the sports I love: competitive swimming, college club soccer, avid extreme skier all over the world (still) and of course, my favorite Ultimate frisbee but had a wake up call at age 47: brain tumor! In 2006! It was cancer but thankfully operable! Now 11 years later after 10 a hour surgery and radiation, I have come back to excellent health with only minor coordination issues! The Hystrength training has motivated me to get back and stay in shape! Over the first year, I lost 17# from 154 to 137 and my body fat went from 35% to 28%. My waist went from 32.5 to 29 inches!! Hips went from 40.5 to 38; dropped 2 sizes in my pants to a 6! and one in shirts to a medium. Which is what I've been most of my life! Now 2 years later, I've maintained or slightly dropped!! And the workouts are NOT boring!

My wife and I did the couples training with Gregg. I am 53 and have seen many different approaches to fitness and strength training. Gregg uses the science of metabolism and exercise physiology to set up a personalized training routine that meets you where you are....and he explains this customized approach right up front. His training philosophy is informed by many decades of seeing results and refinement. For us, it was twice a week, 30 minutes per session. It fits into our lifestyle and after 3 months the results have been rewarding. We both have more energy, feel better than before, and have seen continuous escalation in endurance and strength.
