Although I had been working out regularly, I got into a slump a couple of years ago and let myself go. I think I just was so bored with the routine of going to the gym and doing the same things over and over. I was looking for someone to kick me back into gear and found it with Urban Pump. I purchased the 10-week package and am so happy that I did. I thought I’d heard it all – about how to work out, what to do, what not to do – but Gregg really educated me on a way of working out and staying fit that I’d never seen before I started my sessions with him.If you’re serious about getting fit, you owe it to yourself to call Urban Pump, schedule a consultation, and check out what they have to offer. It doesn’t matter if you choose Gregg or Sharon, but just do it! You will be glad that you did. I highly recommend it. I am signing up for more sessions with them.

If you're looking for a personal trainer in Denver, Gregg is exactly what you want — knowledgeable, supportive, motivating and dependable. The proof is in the results: I've lost 30 pounds in six months and couldn't have done it without his help. I put off hiring a trainer for a long time, figuring I should just go it alone. That's nonsense. Any time you want to learn something new a skilled teacher is a tremendous asset, and fitness is no different. I've been training with Sharon and Gregg since 2014- 3 years and 2 babies later- I am in some of the best shape of my life. And I was a college athlete! Sharon got me stronger and leaner than I have ever been before after my first child. Now that my 2nd is 3mo old I am still training with Sharon and seeing results even faster bc of consistent work with her. When they say "40 min a week to buff" they mean it. Who doesn't have 40 mins? This is an effective program that actually works. I don't feel run-down or overworked. I feel motivated and strong. Gregg brings years of experience to the table and I am always impressed with the level of knowledge he has on training& diet. Check out his blog posts people! Sharon is so knowledgeable about pre& postpartum strength and recovery. I worked out with her for both pregnancies and had 2 beautiful natural births. My doulas were so impressed with my strength. She knows what women need to do in terms of diet and exercise to be trimmer and sexier- plus she's just really great to talk to. As you can tell, I could not recommend them more!

I started training with Gregg in February 2017. I started with 3 days a week and then dropped down to 2. The results are the best I've ever had and I've worked out with personal trainers for years. I've lost several inches around the waist and 11 pounds to date. The combination of a low carb diet and my 2x a week workout has changed my life. When I hit a plateau on weight loss, Gregg suggested a 24 hour fast. And it worked! I lost 2 pounds and will do fasting more regularly to help my diet. I'm stronger now then I have ever been and I can see and feel the difference. Hikes are easier, my clothes fit better and I feel better about how I look. Give Urban Pump a chance. You will not regret it!

Yes, he has won awards for Best Trainer, but I want to tell you about some other reasons why you can trust him, whether you want to win a bodybuilding contest, recover from an illness or injury, or just lose weight and get more fit.First of all, there are his three decades of experience. Thirty. Years. Then there’s the fact that he is a lifelong learner. He educates himself constantly, researching and studying the latest in health, nutrition, longevity, everything there is to know about how to be and stay healthy and strong. He has written his own books, as well, sharing his learned wisdom. And perhaps I should have mentioned first, there is his own physique, and that of his lovely wife Sharon, also a skilled personal trainer (they’re both beautiful!).My story: I am a 64-year-old female in recovery from serious illnesses over the past two years. I had become obese, debilitated, exhausted, I was pre-diabetic, and I wanted so much to get healthy and be around for my beloved husband, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. I emailed Gregg with my situation and we made a consult appointment (which was free). I was impressed and touched that by the time I showed up for my appointment, Gregg had already researched my health issues. My husband and I are in our 70s. We joined Gregg at Urban Pump in March of this year. Although we are in good health and have been active skiing for many seasons, for the past several years life got in the way and we became more sedentary. It was time to get back to the gym. However, I personally hated those daily workouts, mindless repetitions and boring routines of conventional fitness centers. And as a woman , I have always been intimidated with any gym environment. Time was also a factor and I didn't want to spend hours working out. I had a million excuses for why I skipped a day and then another day and soon it was zero attendance. So hallelujah for the 20-minute, twice a week program. Not only am I not bored or intimidated, but both my husband and I have gained strength, got some real muscles back and feel wonderful. Greg is so supportive and keeps our sessions tailored to our progress. His dedication to his profession shines through and we have found his advice on diet and weight loss to be very helpful. My husband and I can tell you quite honestly this is an excellent investment in anyone's future health and fitness.

Both Sharon and Greg are wonderful. I get a personalized workout every time. I have enjoyed meeting new people in the class setting and my sister and I split a private class. This is the longest that I have stayed with personal training. Thanks Guys!

I am a recovering diet and exercise aholic. I am also a recovering Californian so, of course, have spent most of my life trying out one new eating and exercise plan after another. I've crammed cabbage, slurped soup, cleansed masterfully, and zoned out. High carb, low carb, all-protein, no protein... ran 6 miles a day, Jazzercise, power pump, yoga, personal trainer's name it, I have experimented with it. I've had varying degrees of success - if success is measured in terms of weight loss and increased energy - but was never really able to stick to anything for the long term....until now.....I have been working out with Sharon for about 8 months and I have seen more results than from absolutely anything else that I have ever tried. I've gone down 2 dress sizes and feel stronger, and have so much more energy. The works outs are hard. I'm not going to lie, but even I can endure anything for 30 minutes, and it's so rewarding. Sharon and Greg are also helping me tweak my diet and just be more mindful of what I am I'm eating. I'm also keeping an online food diary, and that is a major eye opener. I always thought I ate so healthy, and I do, but I was just eating too much. I feel better than ever and am losing weight, and inches consistently and permanently. This is a gift you most certainly should give yourself.
