I love this gym especially this location! The girl at the front desk at 4 am is the best! So welcoming and makes my stay there so much better :) sometimes a smile and a simple hello help people choose where they want to workout.

This location is a little on the smaller side but besides that, everything is great! Equipment is clean and never too beaten up. Staff are always helping people out or cleaning when not busy. When asked about deals and memberships, they don't try and cram any annoying and unnecessary offers down your throat or treat you differently for refusing them. Best thing by far has to be the blackcard membership. Absolute steal of a gym membership 👍

I'm a new member in this company, I like the facilities is clean,the only thing I despondent is the teenager is in the front desk this morning I forgot mi bar code,she said with bad actitud download the app.Soo my question is? For the corp.Is too much help a member for found the member for do the check in.....Really.?? Was a 7:10 am no body waiting in line just my self

They get 1 start for leaving with us with the light on. On google it states every gym is closed temporarily but this one is the only one open. NOPE Their Temporary Close just like every place i go

No communication with the members, it was not specified that the day they reopened it was going to be at 4pm,I went at my regular morning time and they were closed, no work out fur me in that day, today I was not allowed in because I did not have gloves, I was never advised that it was a new policy before I went this morning, very upset with this Downey, CA location

Excersize machines are worn. Minimum maintenance. Treadmills and elliptical machines turn off when in use,stationary bike loose hatdware on handles. Weight machines rubber handles coming off glue oozing out.

Love going there to work out. The place needs more stair masters. It's a very popular machine and they have only 4.. other than that, its good.

Friendly staff, clean facility, very spacious, tvs and equipment are working properly. Air fans or the A/Cs are on so its not stuffy. As well cleaning equipment and sanitizers are everywhere.

I’m very happy to workout in a clean gym, good vibes, respectful members and very friendly & helpful staff.I’ve been going to Planet Fitness in Downey for seven months already. I got the black card to be able to take my 16yr old daughter as a guest, relax in the massage chairs & water beds (that I love), get my tan for free (yay lol) and be able to go to any Planet Fitness.BUT... I’ve been to a few other Planet Fitness and OMG, you have no idea how much I miss my NICE & CLEAN Downey location. I’ve found filthy machines and non caring staff in this other locations. So with that being said... THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO MAKES IT HAPPEN!

Front desk set me up as friend's guest and I like how he didn't try to sell me a membership. Bathrooms are clean. No bench presses or squat racks, only smith machines. Precor contract limited their machine and weight versatility. 1/3 less dumbbells and barbells you would see at a fitness goal driven gym. Pulley system machines with not enough weight.
