Don’t know where to start but I’ll start with the thing that upsets me the most and have had most bad experiences with... its a good gym decent equipment (wish they had more variety) but decent, my problem with it is that people are rude and like to babysit equipment, monday-Thursday is pretty much always busy and friday-Saturday is much less busy, so what I’ve come across is that alot of people like to use up one or more machines at the same time even though they are not using them but they like to put their belongings on top of the machine and like to babysit them so they can use those machines at their freewill. I have no problem with it if it was not a small busy gym with others waiting to use the weights/machines. Especially when its busy, then said people will be rude and disrespectful if you ask them if they will be done soon or etc. If you go to the staff they will be completely useless and just not help at all. My point is I’m paying for a membership to not be able to use the machines/weights that I want too because others don’t understand that theres also other people wanting to use the same machines. Not sure if I’m making complete sense but there you go. The weights are always out of place and found at random places just thrown on the floor. Never any good parking and beware theres no security cameras in the parking lot so if something was to happen to your car/belongings well you’re pretty much out of luck. I pay for the black card membership which had some good perks (being able to go to different locations, able to bring in a guest, etc) but they started new policies which to me I don’t understand, in my membership I have access to their massages and hydro beds but my guest doesn’t? When just a few months ago my guest was also able to use them as long as I was present. Also you are not allowed to carry your gym bag with you, now they ask you to use one of their lockers which I would rather not leave my belongings in a locker especially since I carry my water, towel, resistance bands, gloves, wallet, keys and rescue inhaler. So just little things like that that I’ve been noticing. Also tried out their personal trainers that they offer and did not like it, they tell you what you need to do (which you can read on the machines) and will leave you there until your done with your time/reps and just move on to a different machine instead of teaching new techniques with weights or weightloss or anything. I know the membership is cheaper than majority of gym but to not be able to use machines that I need, my guest has no perks, theres no security in parking lot and hardly any parking, it’s really starting to show why its cheaper than most. Currently trying out a free trail at LA fitness and will definitely be looking into other gyms because I think I’d rather pay a little extra for a better gym.

The Gym is clean all the time, perfect location. But the staff is always Bipolar. Some days they welcome you, some days they just took you key with not even looking at you.Never smile.They use to said: Thank you, have a nice Day.They don’t do it any more.The youngest crew is the worse.I ask Nick a question & he ignore & start talking with other members!I change my location to South Gate even tho is farted from Home.They ALWAYS WELCOME YOU WITH SMILE & FREAT ACTITUD!!This Downey staff need a Customer service training. SERIOUSLY!

If you are ready to start working out or want to start a slow and steady workout, this is the place to go. They offered classes guided by a trainer, you can YouTube how to use the machines, it's a bit crowded but I don't mind. You go do what you have to do and have fun. Noticed though this is not a place for weight lifters.

This has to be the worst possible customer service I've ever received. Six months ago I visited this gym and i accidentally took my wife's card, at the front desk a young lady named Alexis attempted to lecture me about bringing my card. I simply asked for her to look at my profile, I showed her my photo ID and after behaving very rude and giving terrible attitude, she let me in. But not before warning me that she will make sure I wouldn't be allowed in the future and she will mark it on my profile! So today I walked in after work hoping to get a quick workout before going home. Unfortunately my gym card was at home (i know it's my bad). Worst news, Alexis was at the front desk. I politely I formed her to look me up as I had forgotten my card. She did, however the moment she opened my profile she informed me that she had warned me once before and she would not let me in. She said I needed to download an app right there and then if not I couldn't go in. I expressed to her that I did not want to download anymore apps. When I asked, she smirked as she informed me there were no managers or supervisors on duty to make sense of this situation. Great no one to ask this "hall monitor" to stand down. I've been visiting this gym 6x per week and most of the service reps are polite and in fact most greet me as I'm very familiar to them. It was pathetic to have them stand by as Alexis abused her position. Two other employees at the desk acknowledged they knew me but would not assist with providing reasonable customer service, responding "sorry bro those are the rules" Alexis can see on her screen that I am a customer in good standing (possessing 2 membership in one household). She confirmed my identity via cell phone and even after I offered to show my drivers license, she simply shutdown and said "rules are rules and I'm not letting you in". I will follow up with the manager tomorrow as it is important for management to know they have employees who are willing to destroy the loyalty and customer relationship because what is clearly a case of a poorly trained employee who is rude and discourteous. Most of the time I visit this gym at 4am so I hope I never have to see this person "ever" I will definitely not be back in the evening as she has ruined it for me. But if I see her in the AM, I will cancel my 2 memberships and go with 24hour fitness. If there was a zero star Alexis proudly owns it! Terrible!

The place is clean most of the time except for restrooms sometimes being dirty with no hand soap or hand sanitizer. (Always empty) Customer service at the front is very friendly with the exception of the male trainer. He’s pretty cocky and full of himself. (Not friendly at all) He needs to stick with training folks and not be at the front! That being said, I like the place and enjoy coming here. :)

I am from Texas & this is the 1st pf that I have visited since my arrival on Monday. This facility is very clean, a bit smaller than my home gym but I was able to use every machine I wanted without waiting. I went about 11am. My only complaint & why I didn't give 5 stars is that the hydrobeds are all in one room and the lights are bright. The pfs back home have them in separate rooms, no door of course but w/low purple lighting to give you a true spa/massage experience, its very relaxing.

Been coming here for 3 months lost 80 lbs awesome gym I only gave it four stars there is a girl with a nose ring that is very rude and has attitude, the other problem is every time I go it never fails the paper towels are out of stock I can't clean my machine making me look like a Jack hole to everyone else. Also I would suggest removing the paper towel dispensers I notice they get jammed a lot and the employees use razor blades to cut all the paper that's stuck I would just put a simple pole that the paper towels can just sit on and it would be easier to pull and rip off

Super clean - professionals will assist you right away- top off the line equipment. What else can I say; good prices and on and on

Apparently you can be asked to leave for Jump Roping... "It's a danger to others".Also, you can’t even bring in a GYM bag... as if people come to the gym to steal weights. I don’t understand what part of a gym bag is threatening the “judgment free zone”.
