The Edge Fitness Clubs

I signed up for Westland so I've been using this location until they open, typically I'm here on the weekends with my girlfriend. I have the member package that allows me to bring my girlfriend with me as well. I honestly have nothing but good things to say. The facility itself is large, the equipment is vast both in variation and in number. Its always incredibly clean and well kept, and the way the facility is set up makes it feel very open and inviting.The only bad thing I could possibly say is the hours are a little strange. But that comes with a new facility typically.

This gym is a SCAM they lock you in a 2 year contract and there is no way for you to cancel the account. Corporate do not answer to the emails and the employees don’t know anything. I was pressured into signing up and nothing was really explained to me. I am really considering taking this to my lawyer. This is a gym. Any other gym let you cancel whenever. I am very disappointed and upset

I am enjoying this gym so far compared to the previous gym where I was. The cinema is nice but some of the movies are too old. Overall the price to be a member and the options they have are good for the price. Nice to actually hear some music at this gym at my previous gym it was non existent.

I was paying for my friends membership so we could workout together. Unfortunately my friend passed away and I had to cancel his membership last Thursday. I wasn't aware that I would be charged for his membership after canceling. I called today about being charged and was then told that it doesn't matter the circumstances and that since his membership wasn't canceled within 30 days that I would be charged this last time.How crazy does that sound? It's truly disappointing how insensitive they are.

I tried to downgrade my plan and I was told that I'd have to pay the remaining balance of my current plan which is 27.99 a month for two years. I then asked to cancel my membership and I was told that I couldn't do so unless I moved to a new residence OR for a medical reason. Upon receiving this news, I checked their FAQ page on their site and your new residence must be more than 15 miles away from gym location. When I registered for the gym, I wasn't told this...BUT I'm sure that was intentional. If I was I wouldn't have signed up. I read the fine print but not well enough. Upon reading this review, Edge Fitness Gym, please give me a call.

I left my old gym to start a new membership and was skeptical at first. I do travel so I wasn’t sure if this would be the best gym but luckily it all worked out for me. I do enjoy working out here and doesn’t get too busy compared to some of the other places in the area. It is super clean and has every equipment you need. Soon as you walk in people actually say hi. The classes and amenities are really hard to beat in the area. I’ve worked out at a few gyms in the area and this place is really nice. It does get busy during peak hours but that any gym. I never have to wait and the staff is super helpful. I don’t know any other gym that offers so many amenities. I would highly recommend this place.

The gym is very clean. It has everything you would want in a gym plus more. Fits you if you’re an athlete or just trying to be healthy. I went in thinking I was just going to replace my membership at Planet Fitness because Edge is closer to my house. I ended up getting a full weight, BMI and metabolism reading before ever spending a dime. I am not one to usually leave reviews, but I felt that the service at Edge was so over the top that I wanted to comment. The sales person I met with was named Will. I recently quit smoking and have been trying to make a change in my lifestyle. However, a big gym burned me out of money before so Ive opted for the cheap planet fitness for a while. I can honestly say that after talking to Will and doing my first workout at Edge, I feel no remorse or anxiety about my purchase. In fact, I feel a huge motivation to take the action steps I know I need to take. And seriously, Wills one of the best at what he does. I feel like if I see him in the gym again I’ll be just as motivated because he shared his personal story with me, and went above and beyond. Kudos to Will and Edge Fitness for restoring my faith in gyms and making Farmington a healthier place. 5 stars all the way!!!

This place is the definition of a gimmick. Unfortunately, I was scammed into getting a membership where I was promised 1 month free. I was charged that month and slapped with two yearly fees though I have been a member for only a few months.It is a clean gym but not reliable by any means. Given I have no complaints for the gym cleanliness, the “incentives” and lack of customer satisfaction is the reason why so many warned me of signing up. Also, they close very early on weekends.. if you’re looking for an amazing gym go to lifetime. If you’re looking for a cheap quick workout, go to planet.

The Best Gym Ever!! Great Value Anywhere and the equipment is just the best I have seen!! I been to some of the exclusive gyms and paid a lot for the membership but I have to say , this gym gives you more that those other gyms don’t , Great Value +Great Equipment + Cleanliness + Great Customer Service =happy happy me!! I don’t know how they do it , but they are doing it big!! Great place to be, I love love it..

Signed up early for the gym and on the second day they opened I went to explore the place. Realized it was very gimmicky and not what I was looking for which is not their fault and not why I am giving them 1 star. I decided to cancel my membership right than and there and was told it was cancelled. Came back a week later only to discover that the person I spoke with did not cancel my membership and did not even note anything in the computer system. I spoke to a different person and she stated that she cancelled it and I should expect a refund in 7-10 business days. I waited 14 days and nothing. I went back to the gym (now the third time) to ask about my refund, spoke to another individual who looked up my information on the computer system and apparently I was still an active member even though I had a receipt proving that I canceled my membership. He then stated that he needed to speak to his manager before they could issue me a refund. I wanted to speak to the person I had originally spoken with who had printed my receipt and she was able to confirm that my membership was cancelled. Gave me some story about how they were a new gym and were using 5 different systems which is why the other guy did not find my information. But regardless my original request was not processed and that I need to wait another 5-10 days to get a check in the mail. I will update in another 9 days whether or not I get my money. However, anyone considering signing up for this gym should be aware of how utterly impossible they make it to cancel. I am cancelling within their 3 day cancellation period and they have literally made it impossible. Good luck to anyone who wants to cancel later on.
