Crunch Fitness - Folsom

The worst gym I've ever been a part of. Post pandemic, never received info about coming back to the gym to continue a relationship. Was further charged with gym fees, and now they are asking for past due membership fees. Absolutely ridiculous, I employ you to keep looking if you consider making this your workout space.

This gym charged my credit card numerous time after I terminated the membership in Oct 6, 2020. They cheated my $7.77, $7.77on Oct 7, $10.95, $10.95 on October 15 and $39.92, $39.92 on October 30 without notification for all the same double charges. I don’t know what kind of accounting principles they use because how can they apply the money to closed accounts and no services used by customers. This is a red flag. I read some of the reviews and found I am not alone. I talked to the manager Janna who insisted those charges were valid but can not provide each back up for each charges in writing. I had asked consumer affairs for help. For business who continued to charge customer after the account closed are committed fraud and stealing from consumers. Please stay away from this business or don’t give them your credit card to them. This gym also committed false advertisement by telling me only $7.95 per month and only month to month but did not disclose all those hidden charges they can take from your credit card.

If you have and Active and Fit account I would avoid this location. The General Manager is unaware of agreements with Active and Fit. She was very rude and unwilling to even explore the possibility she was in the wrong. She was rude in person and over the phone. As we all come back to the gym who needs this type of headache. Just an FYI, Planet Fitness is very easy to work with and happy to hook us up with a black card account. Giving access to all of Planet Fitness locations.Updated to One Star: Kylie called me back to inform me that Jeanna had talked to Corp and that you are only allowed one Gym with Active and Fit. 2 hours after this call Jeanna called back to inform me she had just talked to Crunch Corporate and that sure enough with Active and Fit you can go to any gym. Jeanna made multiple false statements during this call and refused to apologize for her lack of understanding. Jeanna has multiple complaints on google and Yelp and I can attest to her inability to provide kind and helpful service. She was rude to me on the phone and very unkind to my pregnant wife in person. Jeanna has done nothing but put a very poor face on Folsom Crunch Fitness. I hope someone has a serious conversation with her.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Continued to charge me for a year even though I canceled my membership.I canceled my membership at the beginning of March in 2020 over the phone AND on their website. The charges temporarily stopped & I got charged twice in June, twice in October, and then they continued to charge me $30 a month consistently. I called again to get my money back (12/20), and we came to the agreement to just have a credit on my account and go with the basic membership ($13/mo). Since I moved I changed locations from the Folsom gym to the one off San Juan. When I checked my account again last night I saw that they are still charging me $30 a month! I called again just now and the manager said he has absolutely no record of me canceling my membership, or the agreement to do a credit because “there are no notes on (my) account.” All the manager offered to do to resolve the issue was cancel my membership.Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I will most likely be getting another charge next month, and have to go through the same process again. I will be taking this up with corporate because based off other reviews I’m not the only person going through this!

Great gym, new and clean! All the machines you need and not too busy, especially in the mornings. Only thing missing is a sauna or steam room.

It's a grreat facility and the staff is friendly. Also as a little bonus, they play better music than any other gym I've been too.

Friendly staff. Very neat and clean gym. All equipment you'd need and plenty of it - never have to wait long for a machine even during peak hours.

Crunch is clean, well maintained, with friendly helpful staff. Really good variety of quality equipment, great classes, top notch trainers.Easy in and out with parking right out the door.

Great gym with all the equipment needed for a good work out. The price can't be beat.I also signed up for personal training, and Deb is amazing!

Crunch's facilities are incredibly clean and they have cleaning spray and hand sanitizer everywhere. Best deal around, and we wish we switched gyms to Crunch long before now.
