I left the ymca due to the lack of cleaning. It needs to be renovated for sure in all areas. It also lacks of good group instruction classes. No good instructors for the evening clases. I lost motivation and left. I’ll return once it has been renovated like the others Ymca in the Gastonia and charlotte area.

We have sent our oldest to different ymca camps, this YMCA will hold your kid hostage until they are ready to release them. The facilities are old and run down. Don't expect the employees to know what is going on.

I come here most days for the gym. Very good place and very clean. The only thing that bothers me is hearing the camp counselors and after school counselors yelling at kids and talking to them very aggressively. I understand them having to deal with kids all day but don’t do it if your going to act the way some of them do.
